Does “Married to Medicine” suffer from a lack of promotion?
Dr. Heavenly Kimes is excited for fans to finally see the upcoming season of “Married to Medicine.” For months now, fans have been wondering when the show would return. It’s been confirmed that Season 9 will premiere on July 10. From the looks of the trailer, the cast will be delivering another season full of drama. However, some fans are feeling as if Bravo could do a much better job promoting the show. This is something Heavenly discussed recently on her YouTube channel with blogger Funky Dineva.
The conversation started after Funky admitted that he hasn’t seen the trailer yet. In response to this, Heavenly said, “And that’s an issue for me as well. Why ain’t nobody seen the trailer because I did a vlog on the trailer, right? And the people were telling me just like you, ‘I have not seen it yet, I have not seen it.’ So if you release a trailer and you know we coming out in two weeks, why is there not more promotion for ‘Married to Medicine?’ Can you tell me that because it was way more for the Housewives?”
She continued, “And I ain’t complaining and I ain’t getting on here and talking bout Bravo because they do pay me. I’m not talking bad about them. I’m just wondering why do you feel like they don’t promote us as much? You know you look at other things. The Housewives have billboards and all this and we just ain’t got…and I think our show is good. I think it’s great actually.”
Funky Diveva’s answer was interesting. He said, “Y’all show is great. But let’s just not pretend, y’all are the stepchildren. You know what I’m saying? Y’all are the stepchildren. I mean Housewives is the anchor of that entire network. And take it a step further, all the other ‘Married to Medicines’ failed miserably. The harsh reality of the situation is y’all show is great but you don’t rake in as much money as they do collectively. So you don’t get to get what they get.”
