Peter Thomas was never a fan of Phaedra Parks.
Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” husband Peter Thomas recently opened up to Carlos King on “Reality with The King.” During the podcast episode, Peter reflected on his time on RHOA. And he didn’t hold back his thoughts about past and present cast members. In fact, he confirmed that he didn’t like Phaedra Parks from day one. This came up as Carlos brought up how Peter’s first meeting with Apollo Nida didn’t go well.
“And Apollo and I, the first time we met, we was gonna fight because you know his wife was upset I did an interview with Uptown Magazine and they asked me what I think about the girls. I was just being honest. And she was offended maybe cause I didn’t like her from day one. Never did.”
Carlos asked, “You didn’t like Phaedra day one. Why is that?” And Peter answered, “I think she’s the kind of person to throw the rock and hide her hands.”
He continued, “I was like this chick is messy as h*ll ’cause she would throw the rock, hide her hands and then go push Porsha to do her dirty work. That sh*t’s crazy.”
Peter Thomas’ screen time on RHOA rubbed Cynthia Bailey the wrong way.
Cynthia Bailey was discussed. Carlos said that fans had no idea that Cynthia used to get angry with Peter because of all the screen time he was getting on the show.
“What’s interesting is behind the scenes, people don’t know that Cynthia used to be mad at you for what she felt like you were taking away scenes from her and making the scenes about you. And interfering with her relationship with NeNe [Leakes].”
Peter said, “I thought that was the dumbest sh*t ever because I think the whole purpose of why we were on the sh*t was because of the money that they was paying her. And the exposure we were getting as a couple. So the more we tape, either myself or her, cause they never were gonna tape me by myself…it was always in our house with her there, her and I talking about it. But like when the cameras were gone, she felt the wrath of what was coming next from the girls, especially NeNe.”
He added, “Her and NeNe…I used to wake up every morning and they were on the phone.”
Peter couldn’t understand why being on the show more would upset them because doing so helped the ratings, “I used to go to bed every night and they were on the phone. And I was like, ‘Why you talking to the enemy?’ She’s gonna talk you out of whatever we’re doing. I think NeNe used to probably talk to Cynthia that much to tell her to check me, ‘Tell Peter to sit down. Stand down.’ I’m like why? Now people wanna watch this sh*t. It happened quick and a lot of them didn’t know how to deal with it.”
Todd Tucker and Peter Thomas nearly came to blows at a club.
He also said that Kenya Moore is the smartest woman to appear on RHOA. And the thing is she doesn’t take anything personally. She understands RHOA is just a job and she always shows up ready to work.
Peter also said that contrary to reports, he didn’t hook NeNe up with her current boyfriend. Nor did he introduce them.
He discussed the time he and Todd Tucker nearly came to blows at a club because Todd fell out with Apollo. And he thought Peter sided with Apollo.
“I didn’t like the way Todd was coming at me ’cause I personally didn’t do nothing. But you know, we New Yorkers so he was rolling with all his dudes from the Bronx and whoever he was rolling with. And he felt like I was rolling with Apollo. So he didn’t have nothing for me and so words were exchanged. We were up in each other’s face.”
People had to keep them from fighting. But they later saw each other in Las Vegas and were able to be cordial. So there’s no beef between them.
RHOP fans should anticipate another explosive season.
Peter also confirmed that “Real Housewives of Potomac” stars had a nasty blowup at his Miami bar while filming the upcoming season.
“In short, liquid was thrown in somebody’s face, somebody threw a glass at somebody. A bunch of sh*t went down.”
Thanks to a clip going viral of Wendy Osefo and Mia Thornton arguing at the bar, many fans are assuming they are the ones who were involved in the heated moment.

Peter being messy as usual. It’s funny though, many people were clowning Kandi for being with todd and saying todd was kept. When it was not todd but Peter getting paid from Cynthia. Maybe that’s why Kenya didn’t have a real relationship with Cynthia but she saw allot of fake. Well i hope people stop labeling todd like he is a bum. Peter fit the role and clearly looking for clout. People need to move past their dislike for these characters, yes even phaedra. It’s a job , Kenya knows the assignment too. Miss me on “well we should not have those type of people the show.” Goodbye, have you met Kyle, Romona,Brandi, Erica , Theresa, and others? Bravo likes the intense drama because people want to see it, even if they are problems/rascist.

He’s got a lot to say for someone who lived off his wife the entire time they were married..even losing her money in his business ventures..

You can always count on Peter to dish the mess. He told everyone’s business but Kandi’s. He the entire cast out there with behind the scenes information.
It was hard to see Phadrea as rock thrower who hides. She would be soo tickled about the others reactions, Kenya as doing whatever to make them react. Cynthia being behind the scenes rager. Nene being who she is bossy.
