Jason Maxiell isn’t here for Iyanla Vanzant.

Brandi Maxiell decided to return to “Basketball Wives.” On the current season, she’s opened up about her fallout with Malaysia Pargo. She’s also been transparent about grieving after her father’s death. However, some fans have been wondering when she is going to open up about staying with Jason Maxiell. So far, she’s only said that therapy saved their marriage. They had a very controversial appearance on “Iyanla: Fix My Life.”

During an interview with DeDe’s Dope Podcast, she was asked about Jason’s confession of cheating over 50 times. And Brandi revealed Jason is not a fan of Iyanla Vanzant.

She said, “When that happened, it was like Jason was so mad at that lady. He was like, ‘I wanted to slap the **** out of her,’ because it was so aggressive. It was so much.”

Brandi continued, “He was so mad at her.”

She also felt like it was weird that Jason came up with the number, “First of all, I thought it was weird. How the **** you know the number *****? It happened, he said it.”

‘Fix My Life’ was their last chance.

Regardless, Brandi still believes that Jason is a good man.

“It was just the perception, the edit of how it was and everything. I mean to know my husband, he’s a good guy. Yeah, he ****** up, and yeah, I made him pay for it. But at the same time, we worked so hard at that. I was humiliated, I’m not gonna lie. And one thing that I did learn from her is that she was like, ‘It’s something deeper. He needs to know his father, he needs counseling.’ It was drinking…and number two, it was retired. He didn’t know how to handle that.”

Doing “Fix My Life” was something Jason wanted Brandi to consider before leaving him, “It was so many things and so many elements in his life, he was like, ‘Brandi before you walk out the door, do this first. Don’t close the door yet. Do this first.’ And I did it…”

Luckily, Brandi and Jason were able to work out their issues and marriage counseling was very helpful to them. However, one relationship Brandi won’t be able to fix is the friendship she had with Malaysia. Brandi said she wishes Malaysia well, but once her mind is made up to move on from a friendship, it’s a done deal.

  1. She didn’t force them on the show so Mr. Jason should have wanted to slap himself! How are people always mad at Iyanla when they can google the show and literally see what’s gonna happen. Man Bye!

  2. The fact that Brandi could forgive Jason for playing around with her health and safety while he cheated with over 50 women but she’s still mad at Malaysia for something petty sums up what’s wrong with a lot of women.

    1. I’m not married but I can understand you are kind of women married all your adult life how are you going to started over nobody want to started they life over

  3. Why was he mad at Iyanla? Did she hold a gun to his head and tell him to cheat with over 50 people? The anger is misplaced. People don’t like Iyanla because she told them the truth about themselves and they couldn’t handle it. I’m glad the show is over because I know it annoyed her dealing with grown people being problematic and playing victim when clocked.

  4. He need to slap himself for being a cheater!! And Brandi need to slap herself for being a dam fool!! Dont come first Iyanla..

  5. Why the threat of physical violence towards that sistah that’s old enough to be his mother? That’s my biggest issue with this entire thing. She’ll excuse him for anything as long he apologizes publicly… if he’s caught publicly.

  6. Jason is weak sauce. Threatening to slap a woman that he contacted.
    He couldn’t handle the truth.

  7. I don’t think I would have shared that with anyone. He is a man whether he meant it or not I would never verbalize my husband saying he wanted to slap a woman
