An attempt at a joke didn’t sit well with Dr. Eugene Harris and Toya Bush-Harris.
“Married to Medicine” star Toya Bush-Harris is no stranger to drama and controversy. So the current season of the show is no exception for her. In fact, she’s still in a fragile state with Anila Sajja. On the last two episodes, Anila and her husband Dr. Kiran Sajja decided to be a little shady with their Halloween costumes. They dressed as movers and pulled up to Dr. Simone Whitmore’s Halloween party in a U-Haul truck. After they stepped outside of the vehicle, they proceeded to ask for Toya and Dr. Eugene Harris to be told to come outside so they could move forward with their “joke.”
When Eugene realized that he and Toya’s real estate decisions were the inspiration behind the costumes, he was not amused. He felt like Kiran and Anila were doing way too much. And it just wasn’t funny. Although he tried to explain this to Kiran, Kiran continued to say that the joke was funny. Eugene felt like Kiran wasn’t taking him seriously or trying to understand his perspective. So it’s safe to say that Eugene and Toya won’t be on the best terms with Anila and Kiran anytime soon.
Interestingly enough, the recent episode may have also shown what led to Toya’s altercation with Audra Curry. And it’s Toya’s comments about Audra’s abilities as an attorney. The heated moment will play out on a future episode.

Toya is right Jackie always gets special treatment. Aundra is already doing to much.
Chile Jackie is a cancer survivor. It should be understood why she doesn’t want to drink.
While I understand that Jackie does receive preferential treatment from producers, I think it’s silly to try to force her to drink. She almost died from breast cancer. So now she’s very serious about her health and not drinking makes sense.
Since when do you HAVE to drink ..Toya irks me…she needs a storyline so let’s pick on the friend of the show …she needs to worry about her husband feeling burnt out at work..take some of the pressure off of him. She’s selfish.
Toyah needs to do something productive with her life. Stop using your kids as an excuse. Women work everyday and still manage to go home and take care of their family. That show is a part time job you still need to find something to help ease the stress from your husband
I’m tripping on why Anila, with school aged children, can’t seem to manage her children. I do it every day AND work a full time job.
