‘Black Ink Crew Chicago’ Recap: Don Clashes with Ashley + Phor & Nina Hash Things Out

On the recent episode of “Black Ink Crew Chicago,” change appears to be something Ryan, Phor, and Don are hoping for.

Ryan thought he found success with his new shop. However, he’s noticing that some of his employees are constantly showing up late or barely showing up at all. This has forced Ryan to work more hours. This is a problem since he hired people so he can cut down the amount of time he spends at the shop. A conversation with his mom inspires him to do the things he’s uncomfortable doing. And that’s letting people go that he cares for.

Don and Ashley have hit another rough patch in their marriage. Ashley feels like she’s been very supportive as Don pursued his dreams. And she wants Don to support her the same way. The pandemic has made Ashley want to become a nurse. But when Don asks her to lay out her plan to accomplish that and how he can support each step, this annoys Ashley. She tells him she didn’t ask him to do this when he needed support.

Plus, Phor and Nina will start a new chapter in their co-parenting relationship after Nina decides to move to Atlanta.

Here’s a recap for, “I Love Lisa and Lisa Loves Me Back.”
