LaTisha Scott and Marsau Scott responded to LAMH fans.
During a recent interview on Carlos King’s “Reality with the King” podcast, Carlos King had LaTisha Scott and Marsau Scott address fan speculation about whether or not they should thank the Holts for being on the show.
As fans know, the Holts approached Carlos King with a show idea that focused on their home construction business. But Carlos wanted the Holts on a show focusing on couples. During the podcast, LaTisha and Marsau let it be known that there were other couples that were approached and none of them made the cut.
When Carlos specifically asks if they should be thanking the Holts, LaTisha asked,
Can we be fair about that also? Wasn’t you guys introduced to like twenty other couples before you finally met us?
How many couples was it before the Scotts?!
Marsau then replied to Carlos with a question of his own.
Well Carlos, let me ask you a question. To be fair, if you’re saying that they came to you and they said, ‘we’d like to do this show by ourselves. And you said, ‘Hey. You need more people to do what you want to do.’
Carlos cuts in and says he didn’t say that exactly.
Well, I didn’t say that exactly. You know people like to twist words, unfortunately.
So, what I did say to them was I love y’all. This idea could work but I have a bigger idea that could make a bigger impact.
LaTisha Scott and Marsau Scott feel the Holts should thank them.
Marsau then interjects, mentioning that the show wouldn’t be where it is without the Scotts. In fact, he mentions that Martell and Melody should thank them.
I guess what I’m trying to say is if they needed more people, and we were the “more people” they needed, who should be thanking who?
LaTisha then interjects, saying, “there’s a lot of thank yous that should be going around.”
Marsau then jokes about giving thanks.
Actually Carlos, the truth is I’ve already thanked everyone for throwing my name in the hat. I’ve been great.
I’m not about to sit here and pander to the fans. Any time anyone in my life has ever done anything, I’ve always been thankful. Whether it’s a small thing or a large thing, I’m definitely thankful to be here. But, um, I do want to thank the people personally whose name is on my check.
After this, the Scotts emphasized they’ve thanked the Holts already. However, after their friendship deteriorated, they aren’t interested in doing it again.

LaTisha, you are full of it! You are so petty and the only thing that comes out of your mouth is something about Mel who truly is not thinking about you! Focus on correcting your mother Wanda because she is so disrespectful we would not want to watch when she is on there…always drama with you and her against other cast members! I agree.. Karma comes back. See what happens when people are defensive and guiltyof what they are saying about them. If it wasnt true they can’t acknowledge and brush it off. Lots of stuff going on behind closed doors. Latisha knows what type of man he is. As well as his group of friends. Be careful someone one day is going to fire that light.

This doesn’t make any sense. The Holts pitched a reality show that focused on their real estate projects. Carlos wanted to make another real housewives clone instead. That doesn’t mean the Holts “weren’t all that.” It means they pitched their show to the wrong person. They should have pitched to HGTV. And even with that said, it’s the Holts marriage woes that made this show popular. Sadly, the show would’ve been canceled after the first season if Martell’s cheating didn’t come up. That’s why the other show was canceled after season 1.
They can remain delusional but that whole show is about the Holts. And it only succeeded because of them. And that’s because they were the only couple who chose to be authentic. The Scotts are not transparent. Their real tea is only shown on blogs and YouTube channels. Even right now the majority of the episodes are everyone gossiping about Mel and Tell. If they left LAMH today, it would die one season later. Facts are facts. I don’t care about Marsau and Tisha’s bruised egos. They are pressed and jealous.

If anyone wants the truth, just sit back and observe the interviews. Melody and Martell can do press and barely mention the Scotts. They have enough material from their own lives for a compelling interview. Meanwhile, the majority of Latisha and Marsau’s interviews are about Melody and Martell. That’s who needs who.
Exactly!!! I was thinking the same thing!! Whenever the Scott’s do an interview….trust and believe Melody name will come up one way or another!!! Just tired and basic 😂

The Scott’s, have made a very good life fir themselves. They have a few successful businesses and they are definitely not hurting for money.
The Holts should be grateful to the Scott’s for agreeing to do the show.
Originally Marsau thought the show was to be about real estate development in the areas of Alabama, not about family relationships.
As for Ms Wabda , sheis a full grown woman who can evidently handle herself and hold her own against anyone.
And some of you viewers won’t admit it but you enjoy it when Ms Wanda is in full effect.
I wonder did everyone pick on the fact the Tisha hold all of the cards. She owns 51% or more in the company Scholtz. She may act stupid but she really has a good business mind. Every deal they have she is at 51%. After the fight I don’t think she will every let Mr Holy back in
COUPLES DON’T MAKE THE SHOW,THEIR STORY MAKES THE SHOW. MARTELL STORY MADE THE SHOW JUICY FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND MARTELL STORY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH REAL ESTATE. IF THE HOLTS WENT TO ” HGTV ” WITH A REAL ESTATE SHOW AND HIS CHEATING CAME UP , THE SHOW WOULD HAVE BEEN A FLOP !
Not really. HGTV literally has successful shows with divorced couples. The Holts should have went to HGTV instead of Carlos. They’d probably still be married if they did. Martell is still very much one of the main reasons why anyone still watches this show whether you like him or not. LAMH is Mel and Martell’s show. Everyone makes the whole show about them every season because honestly no one else is that interesting nor are they willing to be as transparent. This isn’t a knock on the Scotts. But they aren’t that interesting because they aren’t authentic. You learn more about them from YouTube. That’s a problem. They use the Holts and now Mel’s mother to deflect and avoid sharing their truth on the show.
