Destiny Payton has been receiving criticism for repeating information to Martell Holt.
The cast of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” has all been hit with accusations and gossip since the show’s beginning. And as the drama continues to unfold, fans have a lot of strong opinions on social media. When it comes to Destiny Payton, she was once close to Martell Holt and Melody Holt. However, her friendship with Melody fizzled out. Destiny became critical once Melody’s phone calls became less frequent. However, Melody said she just wanted a little alone time after filming a stressful season of the show. But she thought that would be okay since she continued to stay in touch with Destiny via text messages.
However, the last straw was apparently Melody overhearing Destiny and LaTisha Scott discussing her while they were at a hotel in Los Angeles to film a past reunion show. Destiny said she didn’t say anything that should have caused Melody to question her loyalty, but Melody disagrees. So these days they don’t speak. And they have had shady exchanges on social media.
Although Destiny and Melody are no longer friends, some LAMH fans still believe it was wrong for Destiny to tell Martell about the comments Melody made about his business manager Melneka. Melody told Kimmi Scott that they hired Melneka to plan their wedding. However, she ended up quitting. And she told Melody that she suspected that Martell was trying to mess around with her assistant. Plus, Melody believes Martell and Melneka have also messed around.
Destiny Payton cleared things up on Instagram.
Martell wasn’t happy to hear about Melody’s comments. And he said that knowing what was said could eventually sour their co-parenting relationship. At that time, Melody and Martell had just gotten back to a good place. So a lot of fans were critical of Destiny’s decision to repeat the information to Martell. They accused her of being messy.
Well, these fans had no problem telling Destiny what they think on Instagram. One Instagram user wrote, “TV is making you look messy sometimes. I hope you find peace.”
In response, Destiny wrote, “And that’s why it’s called TV…learn to separate the two. Entertainment & Real Life = NOT THE SAME.”
She also responded when someone brought up custody rumors involving Destiny’s ex-husband La’Berrick Williams.
Someone wrote, “No mother should unwillingly have their child taken from them. Praying you and your ex can come to an agreement where you both can be active parents in your son’s life. It’s never been questioned the love you have for your son.”
Destiny responded, “This is another LIE! My son is WITH ME, ALWAYS HAS BEEN. The fact that people repeat rumors as if their [sic] facts is jarring to me.”
People will always react to how you carry yourself on television. If Destiny doesn’t like the criticism, maybe she should present a better version of herself on LAMH.
Exactly đź’Ż… And if she doesn’t want anyone commenting on her situation on social media… don’t bring it to social media!!! She needs to make it make sense!!! Pray she can find peace and healing one way or another!!!
I do not believe that she is messy. Mel took Tiffany’s side when she was being messy with Destiny instead of backing her. Destiny is minding her business and everyone else is being messy by bringing up Mel’s name. There has been no resolution to their problems so there is no reason to try to reunite these two.
Destiny is probably a really nice lady but I feel like she gives absolutely nothing on the show. She’s just there to repeat info to Martell. She has no storyline. And I really feel this way about the majority of the cast now. The show is so stale now.
So she’s admitting the show is fake now? That explains why it isn’t good anymore.
But Destiny is messy outside of the show too. So…anyway, I agree that LAMH isn’t what it used to be. It’s flat-out boring now. Hopefully, the cast is serious about growing their businesses because reality shows don’t stay hot forever.

Destiny has been fishing for sympathy on IG but she’s still combative when people offer her some advice which is stay off social media to recharge and consider leaving the reality show that employs her to be toxic and messy. It doesn’t seem like she really wants peace and positivity. Just more fanfare.
All of them are messy. Some are just messier than others. Kimmie is doing whatever it takes to become “a real” Scott. She is carrying the information told to her back to Destiny, Latisha and Tiffany because that is what she is instructed to do by the producers. Reality television is set up and edited. Take a look at the housewife shows, they all do the same things. They all go on a ladies trip, they all have an event, etc. In real life I would stay the h-ll away from all of these crazy drama filled people especially the catty a-s men. Nobody in their right mind would want to deal with this stupid sh*t. The whole cast is a hot d*mn mess and they do it for a paycheck. Chi ching
