Destiny Payton stands firm in her dislike of Melody Holt.
During last night’s “Love and Marriage: Huntsville,” it really seemed as if Destiny Payton is not ready to bury the hatchet with Melody Shari. In a scene with LaTisha Scott, Destiny and LaTisha finally recapped what happened at MaDonni’s grand re-opening and Destiny’s interactions with Stormi and Melody.
Destiny tells LaTisha she told Stormi her Gucci purse gift was a charity case. She told Stormi she wants to have her products in MaDonni, though in the last episode, Stormi explained how her products are sent to a distributor.
She also wants Stormi to stop trying to fix her relationship with Melody. However, LaTisha feels Destiny and Melody need to resolve their issues. She believes Destiny and Melody had a good friendship when Destiny first joined the show.
Next, Destiny rolls her eyes when LaTisha tells her about the resolution she and Marsau came to with Martell and Melody.
Overall, Destiny’s storyline involving her feelings about Melody has fans polarized. Quite a few LAMH fans feel quite disappointed in Destiny this season.
In fact, an Instagram user expressed this sentiment on a post from blogger OMFG Reality TV.
The Instagram user posted, “Destiny is so disappointing this season… [Destiny] is so hurt by her and Melody not being cool just admit it atp.”
Well, Destiny saw the post and immediately replied to the user. She wrote,
I hate I disappointed you. I disappointed myself by keeping so much in [and] therefore causing confusion on why I was in the space I was in. #knowbetterNow
Destiny Payton feels she owes Melody Shari’s mom an apology.
Despite this tension between her and Melody, Destiny does feel she owes an apology to Melody’s mother Vanessa Rodgers.
While Destiny was answering questions in her Instagram Story, someone asked the following:
“Why did you say to Ms Van [to] stop pimpin your daughter?”
Destiny replied and mentioned that she should apologize to Melody’s mom Vanessa.
I gave a quick response in a moment of high emotions because I felt disrespected. Yet I was raised better than that. She is my elder and I owe Mrs. Van an apology.
I’m sick of Destiny. Melody is her storyline. She’s friends with LaTisha because they both have a problem with Melody. How about Destiny give Melody her money back to pay your bills. Oh but Melody is such a bad friend.
I agree with you! I feel Destiny and latisha is hating on Melody for no reason. How can you call someone a bad friend that showed receipts threw text messages that she reached out to Destiny several times. And she absolutely spoke to Destiny during her opening of her shop or whatever the hell it is.. Destiny just want a story line and using Melody for it.. Destiny (Bitch) get a life line..
I see it differently. Destiny and Melody are both head strong. Neither of them wants to be wrong. From what I understood, they are both wrong! Both need to sit down off camera and sort this out. Their long time friendship should not be forgotten but repaired.
Destiny, I think when you speak to Ms.Van only say I’m sorry for using the words I chose please forgive me. Let her speak and after that unless she asks you a question don’t say anything else because you will begin to bring Mel into it. Trust me. Speak only when you are spoken to.
It’s so sad when a good friend secretly dislike you. Destiny’s problems is,she only wanted Mel as her only friend. Once she saw Mel growing the green monster starting growing in Destiny.
