Sheree Whitfield is tired of her RHOA coworkers coming for Martell Holt.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans have a lot to say about the recent episode. As we reported, Sheree Whitfield planned a sip and see to show off her granddaughter. It was also the first time Martell Holt met Bob Whitfield. Martell has already been a hot topic amongst the group. In fact, it was alleged Martell didn’t want to pay for Sheree’s birthday dinner. And he asked the ladies and their significant others to contribute via Cash App. When this got back to Sheree, it resulted in Sheree having a tense exchange with Sanya Richards-Ross during the After Show. Sanya tried to explain why she thought Martell would be paying for the dinner. But Sheree just couldn’t understand Sanya’s perspective. And she repeatedly said she didn’t understand why Sanya’s husband Aaron Ross would want another man to pay for him and Sanya’s meal.
Well, a lot of people took to social media to give their take on the situation. Many said Martell should have paid for everyone since he’s dating Sheree.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes said Martell Holt should have paid.
“Married to Medicine” star Dr. Heavenly Kimes said her husband Dr. Damon Kimes would have paid. On YouTube, she said, “If Doctor Damon calls you up and says I’m having a birthday dinner for my wife, do you freaking think Dr. Damon ain’t gonna pay? I don’t know what y’all thinking and y’all saying the women think they’re privileged and all of that…the caliber of the women I deal with, people fighting over the check. When I go to dinner with Dr. Jackie, it’s no I got, I got it. No, I got it! It’s like I want to pay.”
She continued, “I don’t understand it. I don’t know, was it 50 people? Was it 10 people? Was it 5 people, was it a whole lot of money because honestly if my man calls you up, he should pay!”
Sanya Richards-Ross rubbed Martell Holt the wrong way.
Martell responded to Heavenly on Instagram. He also threw a little shade at Sanya, too. He wrote, “I didn’t invite anyone. I wasn’t the host. I was invited like everyone else. I brought a gift. Those were her friends girls and some had their husbands and boyfriends.😒 Heavenly, you said your husband would’ve paid, when I was married I paid for dinners. And when I host dinners, now I pay.
He continued, “It’s not, if I can pay it. It’s the principle. I paid for my dinner and @shereewhitfield dinner. I said, ‘Y’all can cash app me 🤷🏾♂️ 🤣.’ I’ve come to realize that extending a good gesture doesn’t mean ish, because the main person @sanyarichiross who spoke about this situation I just paid for her and her husband’s dinner when we casually met up a couple weeks prior to. So, not doing things people expect of you or want you to do will bring out their true character.”
