Melody Shari has been prioritizing her boundaries when it comes to Martell Holt.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star Melody Shari wasn’t thrilled to see Martell Holt on the Houston cast trip. However, Nell Fletcher assured Melody that her boundaries would be respected. So she didn’t have to worry about anyone forcing her to engage with Martell. This was music to Melody’s ears amid their nasty custody battle. She was hesitant about going on the trip due to ongoing drama with Martell. So assurances from Nell and Chris Fletcher seemed to put her mind at ease during the recent episode. Melody also requested that her room have a lock on the door. Her request was met.
When Martell arrived at the rental in Houston, he greeted Melody. She simply threw up the peace sign while walking away from him. In a green screen interview, Martell said he doesn’t have an issue with speaking to Melody when he sees her. And he’s not so sure why she can’t have the same perspective. Interestingly enough, what Martell did take issue with is Melody dumping Holt as her last name. In his opinion, this was disrespectful and petty.
Melody Shari addressed the criticism.
Well, some “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” fans agreed with Martell on social media. They feel Melody should “get over” everything Martell has done so they can be cordial. Melody addressed these people on Instagram.
She wrote, “Imma make one comment. If you’ve never been in the position I was in and what had just recently transpired including audio JUST leaked confirming it, don’t tell me what I should’ve done. At that time, it was by God’s grace that I could even stay out of prison and show UP to work to make my coins versus letting it keep me ashamed, embarrassed, and in the house. Sooo..…move around if you’ve never been in that position. Thanks 💫.”
Melody added, “And for the ones who say they want the real in reality TV, but want me to be fake and hide my feelings, go get some help. You are probably the same ones who ask ya Kids a question, then tell them to hush when they start to answer…confusing/craY craY 😳.”
Months ago, a woman accused Martell and Arionne Curry of wanting to release revenge **** to embarrass Melody. Martell addressed the accusation during an interview. He didn’t exactly deny anything and said Melody was “bullying” him. So he had to “defend” himself.

What is it with the female fans of this show wanting all these women to be nice and kiss the a-ses of the toxic men on this platform? We weren’t all raised to be weak. Melody owes that demon nothing. He is her biggest enemy.

This man has totally disrespected Mel by throwing this mess up in her face on national television. I have been in a similar situation and I prayed each time that I saw my ex with baby and side chick. Mel is protecting her company and her kids because it is much earlier to knock him upside his head until you see the white meat, than try not to say anything to keep peace. Martell, just want Mel to speak and she is giving him the peace sign….I’m good! Martell is so unhappy, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is not stalking her or have someone spying on her. He sure came up as soon as she walked in.

William Bell has a song that says “You Don’t Miss Your Water Until Your Well Run Dry”. This is where Martell is at this point in his life. I’ve been where Mel is and I don’t blame her. She’s doing good being in the same room with him. This shows her level of maturity and growth especially after the hurt she experienced. Put yourself in her shoes and see how you’d handle it. So I say leave her alone, worry about yourself because I see one strong woman.

Melody did the right think I would not have spoke either, I have been following this show for a while and there is no way I going to speak to someone like Martell. He gives Melody nor does he respect his kids let along has respect for himself. He takes no Responsibility for having a side chick IMO also allow the side check to disrespect Melody allegedly. Martel hurt and destroyed that family not Melody. If Martell was so unhappy he should have walked away and got a divorce.
