Vanessa Rider remains in the hot seat on “Basketball Wives.”
“Basketball Wives” star Vanessa Rider is having a controversial first season on the show. Some of the other cast members believe she’s messy and minds other people’s business too much. She accused Evelyn Lozdada of being a homewrecker. Vanessa alleged Evelyn knew Carl Crawford was in a relationship when they met. And she is friends with the woman he was with at the time. However, Evelyn denied that she knew this. She alleged that Carl wasn’t transparent which led to some drama. But this happened a decade ago. With everyone on good terms now, Evelyn didn’t think Vanessa needed to meddle. So she called Vanessa out for her actions. In response, Vanessa apologized. She told Evelyn that she was likely triggered because of her own situation.
Vanessa said she learned of her husband Isaiah Rider’s affair because the woman threatened to expose him during a conversation. She was pregnant at the time. The stress resulted in her having a miscarriage.
There was also some drama between Vanessa and Jennifer Williams. Vanessa thought it was problematic when Christian Gold said he has an almost 1-year-old and an almost 2-year-old with plans to propose to Jennifer. So she researched Christian. She told Jackie Christie that Christian has another child and he spent time in prison.
Although Jennifer eventually checked Vanessa for digging up information on Christian she already knew, Christian confronted Vanessa during the recent episode of “Basketball Wives.” He said he did serve time in prison and wrote a best-selling book about the experience. Christian also confirmed he has an older son. But he signed over custody as a teen parent giving the rights to his grandparents.
Christian told Vanessa that he’s not okay with his children being discussed in this way. He also told her that his household is not her business. Regardless, he was willing to move forward. And Vanessa apologized and also said her intention was only to look out for Jennifer.
Vanessa Rider clapped back.
Vanessa had more to say on X. She responded to the post of the scene from the show’s official X account.
She wrote, “Wouldn’t have said nothing to me if my husband was there! #punk”
An X user wrote, “Jennifer GROW UP like why would you let/cheer on your felon man-child confront a woman?? Doug would NEVA! Kudos to real men! #bbwla”
Vanessa responded, “No real man would never – it’s giving sassy PERIODT.”
Vanessa needs to mind her own business and investigate her marriage
He did right because she is messy she need to worry about her own business know what’s going on with her husband and do some of that other a-s hairstyle
Vanessa was wrong but Christian didn’t need to confront her since Jennifer already did. Stuff like this only leads to violence. Let women deal with women.
Yes he should never said anything to she already did and it make Jennifer like a punk everyone running to the rescue for her like stand up for your self and I think something is going on with him anyway
She wouldn’t have to worry about anyone confronting her if she stay out of other folks business. I’m kinda glad he said something to her. As far as her husband, he probably would’ve told her to sit her ass down somewhere and stay out of other peoples business. She gets on my dang nerves.

She’s didn’t get paid to do it. Jennifer dang sure didn’t ask her to do it. Before we go in too hard on her,let’s remember that this is a “reality “show that has producers and writers and editors who tell the cast information etc. that’s shown for maximum drama and ratings

Her man shouldn’t’ve confronted Vanessa but that seems to be the trend these days…men confronting women that isn’t theirs.
Regardless how everyone feels about this situation, it’s not right for a man to approach a married woman. Not giving Vanessa, a passed for what she done, but still if her husband was there it would have been totally different. My opinion Vanessa, husband should have a talked with him.

1st Vanessa don’t know Jen in that manner to consider that she’s looking out for the best interest of Jen. Ppl can say what they want, James’s fiancée did right to confront Vanessa about what she spoke of. Vanessa has enough business of her own.
Look, why did she wait to post that ish on X after he confronted her? and to imply he is gay….all the way wrong and he did not confront her husband because 1. he was not there and often is not 2. the husband did not say anything 3. He was very respectful to her. She was told to stop and really wasn’t paying attention. Jackie did not even want to be there…..
