Nick Cannon Says Mariah Doesn’t Watch ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’

Kevin Hart’s new show on BET, Real Husbands of Hollywood, is one the network’s biggest hits at the moment, so it’s no surprise it got renewed for a second season. However, there’s already been a little shakeup with the cast as Robin Thicke confirmed recently that he was leaving the show to focus on music, and then there were reports suggesting that comedian Chris Rock would be taking his spot. However, Nick Cannon will return for another season, and with all the crazy jokes people crack on him and his marriage to Mariah Carey, many fans of the show wondered if it could possibly be rubbing Mariah the wrong way. While attending the recent press panel for America’s Got Talent the other day, he revealed that his wife Mariah doesn’t watch Real Husbands of Hollywood and he admits she wouldn’t be happy if she did hear some of the jokes cracked about their marriage:

“They go for the jugular. There’s a Mariah joke every five minutes. Honestly, Mariah has never seen the show. She probably wouldn’t be happy about some of the things I say or things that happen on that show. We just don’t care. When you have friends like that…Kevin Hart had a DUI last week and I Instagrammed a picture right when he got out. He hadn’t even changed his clothes and we were on set and I was like, ‘Fresh out of jail!'”

Despite not watching the show, Nick says marriage to Mariah is easy and blissful:

“How easy it is, honestly? I don’t want to knock on wood or anything, but honestly it’s probably the easiest part of my life is being married to my dream girl. When everything else is going crazy it’s like, ‘Wow, I have someone who loves me unconditionally.'”
