Chris Rock Joins ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’ for Season Two

Chris Rock joins Real Husbands of Hollywood for season two? Real Husbands of Hollywood hasn’t lost steam yet as the BET show has continued to be one of the most talked about shows on the network, some of their other shows’ ratings taking a huge hit. The pseudo-reality show had no problem when it came to viewership with its first season and fans of the show were happy to hear that the show would be back as they were looking forward to another round of comedy and laughter. Some of the excitement about RHOH’s return was stifled after it was announced that Robin Thicke was leaving. Though Robin’s departure didn’t strike up petitions, many were wondering who they would get to replace Robin and if they would be a good fit for the show. Well the choice has been made and it looks to be a great one as it has been confirmed that Chris Rock will be joining the cast of RHOH for the second season. HipHollywood caught up with both Chris Rock and Kevin Hart and they asked Chris about his decision to join the cast and he says that it looked like the cast was “having so much fun” together and he wanted to join in:

“I just watched the show. And it just seemed like they were having so much fun. I was like ‘I wanna have fun’ you know? I’m a fan of Kevin, and Anthony and JB. You know, we see each other in passing all the time, but it’s rare you actually get to work with each other and have fun.”

Kevin Hart spoke on Chris Rock being added to the cast for next season. And Kevin had a lot of good things to say about the comedian as he refers to Chris as a mentor and credits him for showing him the way:

“That’s a mentor and a friend to me, you know. He’s a guy whose advised me and basically helped make steps in the right direction throughout my career. So to have him just accept an invitation is huge to me. But you know, it’s just another element of funny, just another level of, I guess you could say, unexpected humor.”
