Brandy Norwood might be hoping to release another successful studio album soon, but in the meantime the singer is also getting back to her roots in acting. She’s currently a star on BET’s hit show “The Game,” but now new reports suggest she could be working on a followup to her hit sitcom “Moesha.”

According to Legitament News, Brandy is already in talks with Tyler Perry to get her own show, and they plan to also bring her parents from “Moesha” William Allen Young and Sheryl Lee Ralph to once again portray her onscreen parents.

The show will be more mature than “Moesha” was and it’s likely it will be somewhat of a continuation.

The site also claims that Tyler Perry is hoping the show will get picked up on his close friend Oprah Winfrey’s network “OWN,” but he also feels BET and TBS could also be interested.

No word yet from Brandy’s camp if the reports are true.

  1. Good for Brandy. I loved Moesha and I wouldn’t mind them bringing it back to some extent. Just don’t bring Ray J back. Please.
