Porsha and Kordell Stewart’s divorce is about 30 days from being finalized, but both have taken to interviews to give their sides on what caused things to go sour in their marriage. Porsha pretty much breathed new life into the rumors floating around about Kordell’s sexuality when she brought them up on the season six premiere of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Kordell then claimed in a statement that Porsha is only pulling that card to have a storyline and he once again denied there’s any truth to the rumors. Although he might end up making an appearance on “the Wendy Williams Show” soon, Porsha is still talking and refuses to let her estranged husband scare her into silence.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Porsha talks more about her troubled marriage with Kordell and she says she feels it was wrong for him to end the marriage the way he did:

“Well, I did get locked out of my home, which was just horrible. Nobody should have to go through that. You made a place to live, and all of a sudden, when you don’t feel comfortable being there, you get locked out. Bravo did catch that entire process of my things packed up and put out by somebody else and the cameras caught that in real time. So in a practical sense, I literally need to figure out: where am I going to stay, live, and move forward.”

She also hinted that she feels Kordell’s new desire to keep giving interviews is because he’s hoping doing so will ruin her image:

“I didn’t hear the interview, and I really don’t care to comment on anything Kordell has to say. He’s saying it for a reason and wants everybody to think of me in one way. At the end of day, Kordell knew who I was to him and what I did and how I felt about his son. I don’t have to justify that at all.”

Porsha says that it was Kordell’s reaction to her miscarriage and other health scares that revealed to her what kind of person he truly was:

“Well, our first year — though we were married for two, it seemed like it was 15, because as a new couple, we went through a lot. I had a miscarriage and major surgery because of fibroids. Through it all, I started to see who Kordell was as a person. We just weren’t really attached to each other emotionally the way we needed to be. That was a sign for me that this isn’t going to be the marriage I pictured.”

As far as dating is concerned, Porsha is waiting for her divorce to be finalized before she dates again but she did say she’s “excited” about meeting the right man for her.

In related news, Porsha responded to Kenya Moore’s comments regarding Porsha questioning Kordell’s sexuality on TV. She posted a not so flattering photo of her RHOA co-star and slammed her for making comments about her mother on her Instagram account:

porsha slams kenya

Porsha later deleted the photo.

  1. Honestly, Kordell looks pretty silly to keep going back and forth with his ex who just happens to be on a reality show. He needs to just let it go.

  2. Kordell thinks he can scare her into silence. That’s all this is about. I’m glad to see Porsha isn’t backing down and plans to keep talking. He’s controlled her long enough.

  3. I agree w/ Porsha. I have never seen a man use such queenish tactics to tear down a woman he once called his wife. I have no problem with Porsha taking shots at Kenya she had it coming. Kenya has a lot of nerve because she has no room to speak on anybody else’s marriage, relationship, etc when she orchestrated a fake one. Kenya have a plethora of seats.

    1. I agree. I think most men would have just addressed the rumors once and kept it moving. To keep responding and try to go on Wendy’s show is very queen like.

  4. I definitely agree with Porsha. It’s so obvious Kordell is trying to tear her down. And she never said he was gay, she just said she heard rumors and those rumors were out for years.
