Beyonce is still enjoying the huge success of her latest album, but we can only imagine she was just as elated to be selected to perform for First Lady Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday bash.
The “Drunk in Love” singer was selected in addition to Jennifer Hudson to perform a round of hits for the First Lady’s birthday party, and even though cameras were not allowed in the star-studded event, she did post photos of herself getting ready for the performance and arriving to the White House with Jay Z and Blue Ivy to her Tumblr blog. It looks like Mama Tina was in attendance too.

In related news, it was also just confirmed that both Beyonce and Jay Z will be performing at the upcoming Grammy Awards. It was announced in the following video:

Blue has already seem more of the world and done more things in her two years of life than most grown folks! LOL.
Yet these BASICS stay worried about her hair. LOL!
