Nicki Minaj Talks Birdman and Lil Wayne Beef + Meek Mill Rumors

Nicki Minaj’s new studio album “The Pinkprint” is already owning the iTunes charts, but the rapper is still doing press rounds to promote her new work.

In a new interview with DJ Whoo Kidd, she actually addressed Lil Wayne and Birdman’s current beef. While Weezy claims he wants off of Cash Money because he’s furious Birdman has been pushing his album back, Birdman’s camp claims he’s willing to sue the rapper if he breaks his contract.

On the situation, Nicki says:

“We’re good. Love conquers all. I do know that no matter what, we’re a family. We’re not always the best of friends, but we’re a family and we love each other underneath it all. I know that Wayne and Baby love each other, and I know they’re gonna resolve anything that gotta be resolved. Shout to Young Money. I am Young Money. I ride with Wayne on whatever. But Baby has played such a huge role in my mental stability.”

 

Nicki also somewhat addressed the rumors suggesting she’s dating Meek Mill, and would only say they are friends. She tells Power 106:

“We’re friends. We’re friends. He’s dope. Shout out to him.”

When she was asked if she wrote Meek while he was in jail, she answers:

“No, of course not…The kid is very busy, so, you know what I’m saying, I hated that he was in jail…Because I thought he was in jail for something ridiculous. But no, I didn’t write him, no.”
