Tyrese Signs on for Season Two of ‘Empire’ + Praises Meagan Good & DeVon Franklin’s Marriage

Season two of “Empire” returns in September, and while the details on the upcoming season are still limited, FOX is keeping fans up to date on all the celebrities set to make guest appearances.

Kelly Rowland will portray Lucious’ mother and now Tyrese has been confirmed for a role as well.

It’s unclear what role Tyrese snatched up, but “Baby Boy” fans have been asking Lee Daniels to get Tyrese on the show for a good minute now, so he confirmed the news on his Instagram account:

Yes! Stop asking!!! #tyrese is coming on #empireseason2 And NO, I am not leaving my show! I just wrapped my 1st episode … I got #richardpryor to do! It was so much fun directing our wonderful cast … I miss and love them ALL… Sorta 😔 sad cause I’m not with them now but I’ll be back for the finale!!
