The success of “Empire” has been great for Taraji P. Henson’s acting career, but she claims it’s hurt her dating life.
According to Taraji, the show’s popularity intimidates a lot of men.
She tells Entertainment Tonight:
“I think the more successful you get, the more intimidated [men] get, because they feel like they can’t approach me. Or they’re afraid to approach me.”
But she been single though…
LOL. I think she’s saying dating has gotten much harder for her with Empire being so popular. I think she should date a business man. One who isn’t fame hungry of course.
Taraji could be right but sometimes women think this when it’s really the men they want just aren’t interested.

I thought I read somewhere that she’s been single since her son’s father was murdered? Anyway, what’s meant to be will be. She should keep enjoying her success and not even worry about it too much.
Taraji doesn’t like to date men she works with and normal guys are going to think she’s out of their league.
Well at least she’s not hanging around French Montana like Sanaa.
It’s probably a number of reasons she’s single right now but she may need to stop dealing with men who aren’t on her level. A man doesn’t have to be famous but if he’s successful too, he won’t be intimidated.
I really think there’s someone for everyone. Timing and discernment is everything though.
