Tammy Rivera-Malphurs Talks Being Assaulted by Joseline at Season 3 Reunion

In a recent interview with VH1, Tammy opens up about the controversial reunion and she claims she came back because she feels she has a lot to bring to the hit reality show.

She says:

“The reason that I came back this season is I appreciate the fact that so many females they responded well to me being myself…being a wife, being a business woman and still holding my own at the same time and going through difficulties.

“I got a lot of positive feedback and I’m happy about that. I’m proud to know that I didn’t display myself in a way that young girls…selling myself short and being someone that I wasn’t.

“The reunion left a very bad taste in my mouth. But at the end of the day the thing that I felt bad about was seeing someone take me to that level of snapping and not thinking about what I was doing, throwing bottles and just taking me all the way to my Baltimore days. And that’s the part that I look at like how did I let someone so low pull me down to their level? But the fact that I was able to get back up there and carry myself in a way other females understand…plus I have a lot to give this season and I have a lot going on, so why not come back?”

  1. Doesn’t she fight someone new this season though? It annoys me to no end how they try to put down Joseline for fighting but they aren’t much better themselves. She’s back because they needed the money, period. She looks pretty though.

  2. I’m not going to let her blame her actions on Joseline tho…. she’s hood, it’s ok baby girl- but own it.

  3. Aww poor Tammy. I think she’s still embarrassed because Joseline rocked her in the little time they did fight. Deb had to step in and save her daughter in law!!

  4. LOL. Tammy isn’t classy either. She just didn’t think Joseline would back up those threats. Neither did Althea. But they learned that day.

  5. The spinoff didn’t happen so she came back because bills have to be paid. Waka hasn’t had a hit since No Hands.

  6. I was kind of surprised to find out she was coming back. She made it seem like the show was so beneath her and Waka and she was doing Mona a favor by even doing that one season. I guess that season off was a humbling experience.

  7. I’m the type of person that keeps it 100. I like Tammy, I have come to like Joseline-to a certain extent. But Joseline DID NOT whoop Tammy a-s. All she did was snatch her ponytail off. All females do now a days is grab hair when they fight so everybody considers that a win. Fight without grabbing hair then say you whooped somebody’s a-s. Joseline is definitely a firecracker but she definitely didn’t whoop Tammy a-s. But on to Tammy, yea I think she came back for the check. And she my girl and all but she can’t talk about how Joseline made her stoop so low but yet she fighting again on the show.

    1. No, Joseline didn’t whoop her a-s but she did more than yank her ponytail out. She punched and kicked her in the stomach a few times before security dragged her away. That is why Ms. Deb stepped in. I just rewatched the video the other day out of boredom LMFAO. Joseline will never get a chance to whoop anyone’s a-s because security is always there to break things up. But she does more than pull hair. Even Erica said Joseline punched her in the jaw when they got into it the first season.

      1. We actually saw Joseline clock Stevie on camera too and it takes five burly security men to restrain her. If Tammy and Joseline had a one on one with no security around, Joseline would win that easily. Tammy is not a fighter and that’s ok. She’s just a pretty girl with mouth. I like her though. Lol!!

  8. These folks stay frontin…..like they only appearing on this show to do some type of charity work…talking about she hopes she’s aspiring young girls….but you with a dude like Flaka?? and you’re on a show like Love & HipHop?? If Flaka was poppin like Future & Drake she wouldn’t be on this dang show trying to “make a difference” You’re there for a check so stop #GirlBye
