In an interview with TMZ, Safaree claims he hasn’t officially sued Nicki Minaj:
“If I filed something that high profile, it would be all over. A lawyer speaking to another lawyer is not filing a lawsuit.
“A lawyer speaking to another lawyer is not extortion. Extortion is me myself saying, ‘If you don’t A, B, and C this, I’m going to A, B, and C that.’ I’m not dumb. So when I handle my business, I’ma go about it in the right way.
“I’m far from miserable. I’m very happy. My skin is glowing. My abs are bulging out. I had to keep this jacket on because if I didn’t they would just be popping out.”
When asked if he’s bitter about Nicki moving on with Meek Mill, Safaree says:
“I am not bitter. It does not affect me. None of it. No matter what, it does not affect me. I don’t keep tabs on what’s going on. In the beginning, I’m not gonna lie, it’s like everything is in your face. You got no choice but to hear and see everything. But then after awhile I really don’t know what be going on.”
And when it comes to eventually making peace with his famous ex one day, Safaree claims it’s not impossible:
“I don’t hold grudges. No matter what the situation may be, like on some real G sh*t. Too much was done for me to be like, ‘oh I hate this person.’ I’m over it. I don’t even…it is what it is. We had our rift…”
