Cynthia’s fashion show is just days away.
Cynthia is working on a fashion show for her line Cargo, and she invites Sheree and Kairo so Kairo can model for her brand. It’s his first time doing runway, so Cynthia gives him pointers.
Sheree once again asks if Kairo will be compensated or even get a free bag. Cynthia is annoyed by this but she remains cool.
Porsha is working on a Baby-Nup.
Porsha and Todd both agreed they do want to have a baby, but she thinks a Baby-Nup is necessary since they aren’t married because she doesn’t want him to take her to the cleaners if things go south.
Kenya fills her cousin Che in on the Hawaii drama.
Kenya is upset that Phaedra once again brought up the Apollo situation from a few years back because she thought they were working on being friends again.
She also reveals to Che that she wants to be on friendly terms with Matt even though the relationship is over and she also feels like she may have made him feel emasculated at times.
“On one hand I don’t want to see him anymore, but on the other hand I want to be friends.” – Kenya to Che
Kandi fills Momma Joyce and the rest of the Old Lady Gang in on the status of the restaurant.
While it’s not quite ready to be open to the public, she’s ready for friends and family to get a first look. She’s hoping everyone will be impressed with all the hard work she and Todd have put into the business.
Cynthia and Phaedra catch up.
Cynthia invites Phaedra to her new house, but she really plans to find out why Phaedra got so upset at the divorce party.
When Cynthia tells her that Porsha told the girls that her divorce from Apollo is now final, Phaedra looks annoyed.
“Porsha mentions a lot, doesn’t she?” – Phaedra to Cynthia
Cynthia doesn’t think Kenya had any ill intent by throwing the party, but Phaedra thinks it was evil.
She tells Cynthia she can move on from the party drama and Cynthia hopes she can because she wants Phaedra and Kenya to be on good terms again.
Todd is not happy with Porsha’s Baby-Nup.
“Not gonna be able to do this. This is extortion.” Todd to Porsha
He feels like signing the contract will give Porsha too much power and it will just hurt him in the end However, Porsha is open to making the edits he wants but he wants to scrap the contract completely.
Porsha assures Todd that she knows he will be a good father but she needs to be able to protect herself. However, Todd feels like he’s had to give up a lot to be with Porsha, including his job and moving to Atlanta.
Both are losing confidence in their relationship.
Kairo is late to Cynthia’s fashion show.
When Kairo doesn’t show up at the agreed time, Cynthia calls up Sheree to find out what’s going on. Sheree confirms that Kairo is headed to the fashion show, so Cynthia has to think fast to make sure the show won’t suffer as a result of his tardiness.
Kairo eventually shows up and the show goes on without a hitch.
Phaedra accompanies Johnnie to see another attorney regarding possibly suing Kandi.
Not only does he claim he deserves unpaid wages, but he now claims Kandi stole his play and restaurant idea.
Kenya invites Matt to hang out with her puppy King for his doggie birthday.
They end up discussing where their relationship went wrong, but she’s ends the conversation because she doesn’t want to discuss their rocky past.
Matt wants to discuss Kenya’s flaws, but she walks away.
He follows her and things get really intense.
“You see how you’re always acting like you don’t have control over yourself? You ruin everything that’s good.” – Kenya to Matt
Both start to accuse each other of trying to get back with the other.
“We didn’t have s*x the other night in my truck because you wanted to?” – Matt to Kenya
Kenya tells Matt she doesn’t want to do this anymore and it’s just too toxic. She’s done with the relationship this time for good. He cries and she walks away.
What are your thoughts on the episode?
This episode was boring. That’s all I got.
It was very dry. Next week should be good though.
I’m so tired of this boring storyline with Kenya and Matt. Like make it stop already.
Agreed. It just drags the whole episode down.
That’s why she lost first chair at the reunion this season. Her storyline with Matt isn’t interesting and it’s cringeworthy at best, fake or not.
Kenya can have such a big heart at times but she needs to stop trying to be friends with Matt. He’s dangerous and he’s beyond saving.
I think Kenya puts up with Matt to have a storyline, not out the goodness of her heart. LOL.
Seemed like a filler episode but that little shade Phaedra threw Porsha was interesting. It makes the reunion tea even more believable.
