At the grand re-opening of 113th, the gang learns that Tatu Baby put Ceaser in the friend zone and Melody wants to become the manager of the shop.
Apparently Tatu Baby wasn’t feeling the fact that Dutchess tried to get back with Cease in Puerto Rico, so she told him it would be better if he stayed single for a while.
Melody tells Ceaser that she wants to be the manager of the shop and she wants Sky to be the co-manager. Cease isn’t sold on the idea yet.
Dutchess celebrates the success of Pretty in Ink.
Things are going good for Dutchess’ shop and she gets emotional as she celebrates the shop surviving its first year with friends and family.
“I am so glad to say my shop has survived its first year.” – Dutchess
Things quickly turn light hearted after she announces she’s now single. She then turns up and dances with friends.
Richard meets with Cease to discuss what went down with Nikki in Puerto Rico and drops a bomb.
To be expected, Richard is still feeling some kind of way about Cease and the gang confronting Nikki about the baby register and possibly being married prior to him.
He once again denies there’s any truth to the accusations and assures Cease that if any of it was true, it doesn’t matter because he loves Nikki regardless.
“I’m also a grown a*s man who can make my own decisions.” – Richard to Cease
Richard also reveals that Nikki is pregnant and suffers from Lupus.
“What the f*ck is up with you? How many kids are you gonna have?” – Cease to Richard
With everything going on, Richard asks Cease to fall back. Cease agrees to fall back but he’s still worried.
This will make Richard’s fourth child.
Young Bae has an emotional moment with Teddy.
Young Bae is stressed because she’s been working very hard to send money to her mother in Korea. Her father is abusive, so now that her mother left her father, her mother depends on whatever money Bae sends her to make ends meet.
The whole situation makes her feel very alone. Teddy assures her that the Black Ink Crew is her new family and they have her back.
Melody hires a tattoo artist.
With becoming manager of the shop her main focus, she decides to hire another artist, Kevin. This doesn’t sit well with Teddy, so he leaves the shop in angrily.
However, Cease approves of the hire because he knows of Kevin from the tattoo convention circuit.
Ted brings back A1.
To compete with Melody, Ted hires A1. Melody didn’t think it would acceptable to Cease since A1 fought Kitty in the past and was fired but Cease says he is ok with it.
Kitty is furious about A1 being back so she confronts her.
When she tells A1 she’s bad for the business and absolutely a bad look for the shop’s brand, A1 gets fed up.
“So because I punched you in the face three times I’m bad for the business?” – A1 to Kitty
When A1 begins getting loud with Kitty, Kitty walks out the shop. Cease offers to drive her home and they end up kissing.
Melody catches them kissing in the car before they end up at Kitty’s place and sleep together.
What are your thoughts on the episode?
I see Ceaser couldn’t wait to find himself a new Dutchess. He learned nothing. You don’t date the people you work with. Especially when you own the business.
Richard is such a mess.
Men move on so fast.
Kitty and Ceaser is going to be a big disaster.
Huge.
Next week is going to very interesting.
Cease ain’t sh-t. It didn’t take him long to f-ck someone else at the shop.
