Queen Sugar Season 3 Spoilers
Fans of “Queen Sugar” are now getting the first details of the upcoming season.
In season three, all of the characters are now dealing with the fallout from the previous season.
Charley is pushing forward with her war with the Landry family.
Ralph Angel is still dealing with the emotions from learning he may not be Blue’s biological father.
And Nova reconnects with a childhood friend who may change her perspective about life as she knew it.
Deadline writes:
In the series’ third season, the Bordelons find themselves continuing their fight to save their family farm and father’s legacy as they navigate their own personal journeys. They soon find that their fight extends beyond their close-knit family, but also to the community. Charley (Gardner) remains in the thick of the trials and tribulations in both her personal and professional life as she continues to battle the Landry family while also trying to ensure Micah’s safety and future. Ralph Angel (Siriboe) is still reeling from learning from Darla (Bianca Lawson) that he might not be the biological father of his son, Blue (Ethan Hutchison), and attempts to push forward as the new cane season begins. A new and unexpected love in the form of an old friend comes into Nova’s (Wesley) life and challenges her long-held notions of relationships while also offering her something she didn’t think she could ever have.
Season three of “Queen Sugar” starts in May. OWN has confirmed the season will have a two night premiere, May 29 and 30 at 10 PM each night.
Are you ready for season three?
I’m ready.
I’m still salty about how they did Darla.
They were too quick to turn their backs on her. Yes she did something messed up but they didn’t have to do her like that.
It feels like forever since last season. I hope Darla and Ralph Angel get back together but it’s probably not going to happen. And I think Charley is going to fall for one of those Landry men.
Nova either gets married or pregnant if they are saying she considers doing something she didn’t think she could do.
So excited!
I love Vi and Hollywood’s relationship so much.
Easily one of my favorite shows. The writing is so on point.
What I love about this show is how it will have you on the edge of your seat, but the writing doesn’t have to compromised to achieve that. My heart was racing on the season finale when Ralph Angel was searching for Darla. I thought he was going to find her strung out on drugs. I’m glad she didn’t relapse and hopefully they can get back together. I do think they really love each other.
