Bobby Brown clashed with Whitney Houston’s best friend Robyn.
During part one of “The Bobby Brown Story,” viewers witnessed Bobby Brown meeting Whitney Houston at the 1990 Soul Train Awards.
The two experienced a whirlwind romance of sorts and married a few years later. Fans and viewers also saw Whitney’s friend, Robyn Crawford. Robyn was Whitney’s assistant and close companion of Whitney. However their relationship soured after Whitney’s marriage to Bobby.
In a scene from part one, Bobby and Robyn’s relationship soured and one night, Bobby and Robyn almost fought in front of Whitney. The tipping point was when Robyn began to eat a plate of food Bobby cooked.
It’s rumored that not only did this incident sour Robyn’s relationship with Whitney, Robyn and Whitney were more than friends.
In the 2018 documentary, as reported by People Magazine, Robyn and Whitney were romantic as teens. However, their romantic relationship waned as Whitney’s music career took off in the 1980s.
But Whitney kept her close, and Robyn happily took on the role of protector and devoted employee.
“I have on several occasions rode in a limousine holding Whitney’s hand with Robyn sitting across from us,” recalls Whitney’s one-time boyfriend, restaurateur Brad Johnson. “She was protective, but I never felt any animosity towards me.”
Bobbi Kristina’s Death will be difficult for Bobby Brown to watch.
Bobbi Kristina’s death will be a major story point for part two. In a recent interview, Bobby revealed to “The Real” that part of the biopic will be the hardest part to watch.
During the interview, he was asked the following:
Which scene are you anticipating having to watch and go through again?
All of them.
Is there one that stands out?
Umm… The passing of my daughter, probably. That’s gonna be the hardest scene for me to watch, for me to see filmed.
