About a week ago, people on social media began speculating about NeNe Leakes’ time with “Real Housewives of Atlanta” coming to an end.

At this point a week ago, NeNe posted a very cryptic photo and caption to her Instagram account. In the photo, she’s throwing up a peace sign out of a car window, sticking her tongue out at the camera.

The caption accompanying the photo read:

Say what now? Nawwww Happiness over everything #byeforever #putsomerespekonmyname

This led RHOA fans to wonder if whether she’s beefing with someone on the cast, again, or if she’s on the outs with producers.

Some even felt she was implying she had quit the show.

Well a recent revelation could explain that post. LoveBScott reported recently NeNe is being forced to sit out the first portion of RHOA Season 12 filming. The sit-down by Bravo producers is allegedly due to the incident that occurred in NeNe’s closet last season.

If you recall, things took a turn a turn when NeNe “ran up on” the cast and cameramen for entering her closet. It’s reported this resulted in a cameraman losing a tooth.

Interestingly enough, NeNe’s team denied this report almost as soon as it hit.

NeNe’s team told Entertainment Tonight that this rumor is false. In fact, according to the rep, NeNe is still negotiating her season 12 deal with Bravo.

“I can say with authority that there is absolutely no truth to this. The only reason why she’s not currently shooting is because she is still in active negotiations with her contract.”
