The Atlanta show is going strong despite obstacles in the beginning.
When it comes to the “Married to Medicine” franchise, the Atlanta show has been known for its drama. Over the years, there have been many feuds between the ladies on the show. In fact, one of the most memorable moments from season one is the altercation that took place between Toya Bush-Harris and Mariah Huq.
While it was a controversial moment that resulted in a call for the boycott of the show, the Atlanta cast is now seven seasons in.
There is also a Los Angeles spinoff as well.
Imani explained why the LA ladies have to be careful.
However, many have noticed that the LA cast is very different from the Atlanta one. Dr. Imani Walker recently explained this during an interview with Funky Dineva.
And she said that although there are times when they all want to pop off, they can’t because most of them don’t work for themselves. So they have to be mindful of the things they are doing on the show. This of course didn’t stop the explosive moment between Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Kendra Segura. While the Atlanta women were visiting, Heavenly’s interest in Dr. Hobart Leung’s “manhood” didn’t go over well.
Kendra was so heated that she wanted to put her hands on Heavenly. Luckily, the women were able to deescalate the situation. Heavenly also apologized and she’s on good terms with Kendra these days.
Interestingly enough, a couple of the LA ladies were in Atlanta recently. And they may have filmed for the upcoming season, too.
