“Real Housewives of Potomac” fans had a lot to say about the recent season. Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard’s altercation was the hottest topic. However, people also had a lot to say about what happened at the reunion between Monique and Gizelle Bryant.
Monique and Gizelle clashed during their first meeting. After Monique said she and Chris Samuels were looking for a house in Potomac, Gizelle then asked if they didn’t have a home. In response to this, Monique said that they had four homes. Gizelle took this as Monique being a braggart. And later on, she told Monique she was only on the show because of Chris’ money.
From that point, they continued to have tension. But during the recent season, it seemed as if they were trying to mend things up until the altercation took place. At that point, Gizelle refused to be around Monique. She also said that avoiding Monique was crucial in protecting her image, as well as Jamal Bryant’s.
Monique got even at the reunion by pulling out receipts she had in a binder. And she accused Gizelle and Jamal of faking their reconciliation for television. The moment went viral on social media, and some fans were anticipating seeing where things would go on the upcoming season.
However, Monique decided to quit the show. Recently, Gizelle shared her thoughts about Monique’s departure.
