Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant’s friendship receives plenty of backlash.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” stars Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon receive a lot of criticism for their friendship. Over the years, fans and cast members have complained about them defending each other. When one is in the hot seat with the other women, neither has an issue defending the other. This has led to both women being dragged into each other’s feuds. On the current season, this is why Robyn was dragged into Wendy Osefo’s beef with Gizelle Bryant. Not only has Wendy been critical of Gizelle’s divorce, but she has taken shots at Robyn’s relationship with Juan Dixon. So Robyn is no longer in a good place with Wendy despite forming a friendship during the previous season.
Wendy said her issue was Robyn didn’t defend her when Gizelle brought the rumors about Eddie Osefo to the group. This was upsetting for her since she thought they were pretty close.
Well, the topic of Robyn’s loyalty to Gizelle is discussed on the After Show. Gizelle has had enough of people being so critical about it. So she has some words for the cast members who take issue with how Robyn continues to have her back throughout all of the drama.

Wendy seems to have that same energy in her friendship with miss nasty. She sees and hears what Candiace does but doesn’t call her out for it. Wendy seems to be trying too hard this season to be relevant. Why would these ladies choose to go low and classless. I don’t get it. Wouldn’t you rather want to be known as someone who chooses taste and kindness in this group instead of being ratchet?!

I agree that Wendy expects more from Robyn than herself because she never checks Candiace about anything. She empathized with Mia behind Candiace’s back during the trip but lashed out at Mia again at the reunion to satisfy Candiace.

I was soooo confused as to why Wendy kept coming for Mia at the reunion when they made up prior. It does seem like she only likes Mia when Candiace isn’t around and that makes her very fake.

Now I don’t always agree with Gizelle but she’s right here and Wendy is reaching. Real friends will always ride with each other. And truth be told, Robyn has disagreed with Gizelle and told her she’s wrong. This season alone she told Gizelle she wasn’t doing the event if Wendy and Karen couldn’t use her bathroom. People ignore the times Robyn calls Gizelle out because they are pressed Gizelle has a real friend to hold her down.

It really seems like Wendy just studied all the comments Gizelle’s haters write on social media and she made them her clap backs and talking points this season. There is nothing wrong with Robyn and Gizelle’s friendship. They have a real friendship unlike others on the show. And we’ve seen both hold each other accountable so they don’t always agree on things. This is a non issue and Wendy needs to stop trying so hard.

How many times have we seen Wendy smile and giggle when Candiace says some foul sh-t on the show and after show? I don’t think we’ve ever seen her tell Candiace she’s wrong either. So she’s a Robyn her d-mn self.

My biggest gripe with this fan base is most are too biased when we discuss the show so their comments aren’t based on logic. The obsession over Gizelle and Robyn’s friendship has always been weird to me. We saw Wendy have Karen’s back all season long and she’s never told Candiace she went too far when Candiace is a habitual line crosser. But Gizelle isn’t allowed that kind of loyalty because Wendy and most fans don’t like her? Umm okay. Make it make sense.

Gizelle and Robyn being loyal to each other isn’t the problem. The hypocrisy of Gizelle is. She’s always talking about other people but won’t share much about her own life. That’s not fair to everyone else on the show.

Wendy has the right message but she’s the wrong messenger. All her interviews have been with Candiace and I’ve never seen her check Candiace about her behavior. She needs to do better too.

I’ve never seen Candiace tell Wendy she’s wrong. And I’ve never seen Wendy tell Candiace she’s wrong. So that ain’t the issue. The problem is they want Robyn and Gizelle to fall out and it’s not going to happen. The rest of these girls change alliances like panties.

Sounds like Wendy wants to turn Robyn and Gizelle against each other, I don’t think either one of them will listen to Wendy and her four degrees, because when she goes after them the way she does it makes all of her degrees look worthless.
