Tee Tee regrets her past jabs at Angela Simmons.
Angela Simmons has made it clear that she doesn’t like drama on “Growing Up Hip Hop.” In fact, she’s had no problem walking away from scenes when she felt as if things were getting way too messy. Due to her strong opinions on this, this is one of the reasons why it took time for her and Briana Latrise to be able to film scenes together. During a past season, Briana called Angela out for not remembering the first time they met. Angela didn’t like Briana’s tone. So she walked away and refused to film with Briana. They were eventually able to hash things out and they are on much better terms. Interestingly enough, Briana has made some messy comments about Angela on the show prior to their truce. And Tahira “Tee Tee” Francis has participated.
In fact, in the scene years ago, Briana and Tee Tee were talking about Angela’s engagement. At the time, Angela was engaged to her deceased ex, Sutton Tennyson.
Briana asked Tee Tee, “When’s the wedding date anyway?” And Tee Tee responded with, “I don’t know. She bought her own ring.”
Well, Vanessa would later confront Tee Tee about this. They ended up becoming friends after they hashed it out. Both women talked about their journey of becoming friends during an interview with WE tv. Tee Tee revealed that she is regretful for the things she said about Angela back then.
While discussing how she met Vanessa, Tee Tee said, “Maybe we had some encounters. I always thought she was cool, I think she said she thought I was cool. But then we did have to talk it out at one point because I will take full responsibility, your girl was a little loose lip at the beginning. And I said something about Angela that I definitely shouldn’t have.”
She continued, “It was great because Vanessa and I had a conversation about it. The conversation went well and I think that created our friendship.”
