Marlo Hampton discussed her fallouts with Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore.

Marlo Hampton is grateful she secured a peach for the upcoming season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” In fact, it’s the first season that she’s ever held a peach. While a lot of fans have been happy for Marlo, months ago, she said some of the women on the show aren’t thrilled about her promotion.

While Marlo appeared on the “Wendy Williams Show,” she told Michael Rapaport that Kenya Moore isn’t happy about her peach. When he said he always thought that Marlo and Kenya should be the ones to get along because they have so much in common, Marlo agreed.

She said, “You know what, we do have a lot in common. Both Aquarius. Both had issues growing up with our moms. So you would think that we would come together and be a force to be reckoned with. But unfortunately, some people just don’t know how to be friends. It’s two opinionated individuals.”

Marlo added, “I tried, I tried over and over to be Kenya’s friend. It doesn’t work out. We clash some kind of way.”

She addressed her blowup with Kandi Burruss as well, “Now listen, I love my Kandi Yams. I call her Kandi Yams. Love her to death. She’s a fan favorite. But I’ve known Kandi, I don’t know if you knew this, longer than all the girls in our group. I used to date her godbrother years ago. So I just feel like if we’re friends, I should be able to tell you how I feel. I don’t care if you’re a fan favorite or who you are. If you’re wrong, you’re wrong.”

Porsha Williams won’t be missed according to Marlo Hampton.

Marlo continued, “So y’all watch and tell me whose side you’re on. If you think it’s me….but I spoke my mind. But the good thing about it, we made up. We made up over some chicken wings. You know she likes food.”

The departures of Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams were also addressed, “I miss Bailey, I totally do.”

However, Marlo said she doesn’t miss Porsha at all when she was asked. Interestingly enough, she believes fans won’t miss her either.

“I really don’t. No, I don’t. I’m okay because you’re not even going to miss her. You’re not even going to know she’s gone because…you guys, seriously no shade, this season is so good. And we brought it. It’s back to the old days. It’s true friendships, true bonds. I think we had lost that.”

  1. I saw a lot of Porsha fans complaining and dragging the show when the trailer came out. They said the show will be boring and flop because she’s gone but ratings were dropping while she was still on it. And honestly, she brought nothing to the show last season. She’s very cocky now and not fun to watch for me anymore. Her spinoff made her look awful too. I think her and NeNe got too arrogant and they bring darkness to the show.

  2. I can say I’m okay with Porsha not being on the show. Her actions over the last year or so have turned me off completely.

  3. Porsha’s storyline last season was sleeping with a stripper the first night and not wanting to talk about it. That’s it. The show went downhill once producers wanted to center the show around her. Ratings proved this. So this narrative that RHOA can’t survive without her is silly. I’d say NeNe and Phaedra are more essential than Porsha.

  4. RHOA is an ensemble show. No one person makes the show. Their most iconic seasons were a success because everyone brought something to the show and had an interesting storyline.

  5. I can’t speak for anyone else but I’m here for this current cast. It was getting stale and let’s be real, Porsha and Nene started to act like they were bigger than the show. I didn’t enjoy them having their noses in the air, refusing to be transparent and storming off when they didn’t like what was happening. And Phaedra isn’t good TV like she used to be. She was boring on MBC. I’ll have to see if she’s entertaining on RHUGT. Cynthia needed to leave before her new marriage was destroyed.
