The former producers of “Basketball Wives” disappointed Jennifer Williams.
Jennifer Williams made a recent appearance on Carlos King’s podcast, “Reality with The King.” Of course, she opened up about her time on “Basketball Wives.” And she spilled some behind-the-scenes tea on old and new drama. Carlos told Jennifer that he thinks Evelyn Lozada and Malaysia Pargo started to get a lot of backlash from viewers because of the way they came at Jennifer. And since they were violent and Jennifer is a nonviolent person, it made fans feel like Jennifer was being bullied.
At this point, Jennifer discussed the time that Malaysia threw a table at her. And she revealed that the moment left a producer injured.
“In that moment, I literally had zero fear and I was thinking to myself, ‘How am I going to throw this big ***** over the bridge?’ That was literally in my mind. If you look at it, I literally don’t move. But what happened was I think a security guard was there and he had his own arm up. And his arm got all bloody. I believe he had to get stitches. I don’t remember exactly. But yes, I was just standing there like, ‘Well, you’re gonna have to fight this big *****.'”
She continued, “The other thing that really blew me was it was one producer I was cool with, right? And he was the only one that came to my room because I was staying at a whole separate hotel from the other girls. He checked on me. None of the producers called me. The network didn’t call me. Nobody asked how I was doing. I was floored that something of that magnitude…why wouldn’t you reach out?”
Did Nia Dorsey and Noria Dorsey take things too far?
Interestingly enough, Jennifer is happy with the new production company, “Now I have to say we have switched production companies, and Truly Entertainment is the production company and it is a truly completely different feel.”
For Jennifer, the new producers are more personable. And they really check in with the cast to make sure they are okay after explosive scenes. Jennifer appreciates this a lot.
When it comes to the current drama, Jennifer had some interesting things to say about Nia Dorsey and Noria Dorsey. Fans noticed that they have been pushed off of the show after the blowup in Las Vegas. Now some didn’t think the situation was fair since it was DJ Duffey and Brooke Bailey who threw things at the sisters first. However, Jennifer accused one of the sisters of creating a shank.
“And then one of the girls, I’m not sure which one it was, they took a wine glass, broke the wine glass, and made a shank.”
She added, “At this point, I didn’t see any of this. This is what I was being told…so basically, I think what happened is the network reviewed the footage. And you’re not supposed to be fighting. So basically, you didn’t see them after that, right?”
Jennifer also talked about her ex Tim Norman who is now in prison because he’s been accused of putting a hit out on his deceased nephew. She opened up about a date they went on in which she realized that Tim was very jealous and it made her uncomfortable.

I hated seeing Malaysia throw that table at Jennifer. The punishment didn’t fit the crime. But I do appreciate that Jennifer isn’t a fighter. People need to see that black women are diverse. And not everyone fights.
Tim a nut but jealous of what? All Tim cared about was getting money. Relationship comes second. Saw that with Janae.
And by now she knows producers are not really going to allow her to get attacked
