On the mid-season premiere of “Love and Marriage: Huntsville,” both Scott couples and the Whitlows make their way to their weekend couple’s retreat. Dr. Francis and his wife are there and Dr. Francis jumps into his sessions immediately once the couples arrive.
He didn’t like LaTisha and Marsau arriving late but gives them a reprieve when he learns LaTisha received bad news on the way to there. Meanwhile, Louis and Tiffany are put in the crosshairs when Tiffany takes a work call.
Through various activities, Dr. Francis observes the couples and notices that Louis and Tiffany may not be fully transparent about their relationship, something both Scott couples agree with.
And back in Huntsville, Martell and Melody continue to try to adjust to their lives post-divorce. Co-parenting has improved. Melody’s mother Vanessa is happy the two are getting along. However, Melody’s relationship with Marlene, Martell’s mother, is strained.
Marlene says she didn’t like some of the comments Melody made about her on social media.
While talking to Stormi about it, Melody says she was commenting on how Marlene seemingly called her lazy. And she believes Melody stressed out Martell during an episode earlier in the season.
