Marsau learns LaTisha invested in Wanda’s food truck.

LaTisha and Marsau take a trek to their Scott Manor land. The project has been delayed multiple times and the Scotts are excited because they’re breaking ground soon. Marsau lets LaTisha know the home will be framed and various elements will be completed at the top of the year.

LaTisha lets Marsau know she’s investing in Wanda’s food truck business and this worries Marsau. Wanda purchased the food truck all three looked at previously. This leads to a conversation about LaTisha’s worries about Marsau bringing Martell back into Scholt. She brings up the “twenty women” rumor and how it almost tore apart their marriage. However, Marsau seemingly has patience for Martell but doesn’t have this for Wanda. Marsau brings up that Martell isn’t spreading rumors as of late. But the same can’t be said about Wanda.

LaTisha lets Marsau know she will sit down with Martell.

Martell lets Melneka know about what he heard was alleged by Melody.

Meanwhile, Martell is at a property when Melneka stops by. He invited her out to tell her about the rumor Destiny told him about. When he tells Melneka, Melneka is floored. She believes this is unfair to her marriage and her husband shouldn’t have to question her working relationship with Martell.

This leads to a conversation about why Melneka quit as Melody’s wedding planner. It was actually months before.

Interestingly enough, Martell lets it slip out that they allegedly slept together in high school. They then joke about Melneka cheating in a relationship and Melneka “not recalling” that incident.

Miss Vanessa denies having something serious with Maurice and Marsau’s brother.

Speaking of Melody, Melody hosts her mom, Miss Vanessa, at her home. They talk about a recent interview Vanessa had. Melody didn’t appreciate Vanessa having to defend her from things cast members said. Vanessa also defended Melody on a recent post where she shared a photo of LaTisha wearing Melody’s “Team Wife” shirt during an earlier episode.

In response to the post, Marsau posted a photo his brother Mark previously shared. The photo was of two soda bottles. One had Vanessa typed on it and the other said Scott. Placed together, it read Vanessa Scott. Vanessa shared details about Mark. Mark and Vanessa had a thing and Vanessa felt Mark was moving too fast. In fact, Mark’s mom said his next wife would be named Vanessa.

Vanessa also didn’t appreciate Martell not defending her regarding this relationship during the reunion. She felt the allegations were wrong. They both believe Martell sided with Scotts because he’s looking for someone to support him amid the divorce.

Lastly, Melody mentions going to Destiny’s event and how Wanda and the Scotts will be there. They are both prepared for foolishness to occur.

LaTisha meets with Martell.

The next day, LaTisha meets with Marsau regarding buying back into Scholt. Martell did not bring up the comments Wanda made about the kids. However, LaTisha brings up Vanessa’s post on social media. LaTisha felt it was shady and Marsau responded. LaTisha says that Mark and Vanessa were indeed dating and Vanessa called her for advice about Mark.

Eventually, things turn to Scholt and Martell feels the business could grow with them working together. LaTisha feels the business is in far better shape after she bought out Martell from the company. She also asks Martell if he is willing to let what happened in the past, including the “twenty women” rumor, stay in the past. Martell gives LaTisha reassurance that he’s done being messy.

They leave the conversation with the intent of working together once more.

Marsau comes for Miss Vanessa, again.

The next day, Martell meets with the Scott brothers to talk about their current endeavor with Destiny. During his conversation with LaTisha, LaTisha doesn’t think it was a good idea to move forward with building the suites until Destiny is able to buy the building. Currently, she’s leasing her retail space and feels it could be a waste of money for Destiny to build.

Louis joins them and Martell tells them all about his improving co-parenting relationship with Melody. This includes Melody allowing Martell to call the kids while she’s with them. Marsau asks Martell if he’s dating as a way to joke about his talk with LaTisha. This leads to Martell speaking about his conversation with LaTisha about Scholt. Marsau is glad the conversation happened. However, he understands Martell could be volatile and needs to protect himself professionally.

Maurice mentions he’s proud of Martell and Marsau working together once more.

Lastly, Marsau talks about his social media beef with Vanessa. He alleges that Vanessa dated Mark and even paid Mark’s child support while they were together.

The episode ends at Destiny’s event at her store. It’s a re-opening event for Madonni and multiple cast members are vendors. Meanwhile, Marsau and Maurice drive their sports cars with Kimmi and LaTisha as their plus ones.

Martell shows up with Melneka. Things get tense when Destiny sees Melody pull up. Melody arrives in a gold-plated SUV.

  1. Only misogyny would have Marsau shaming a woman for paying his brother’s child support instead of being ashamed that his brother can’t pay child support.

    1. That’s what I’m saying! Marsau thinks he exposed Van but he exposed his brother a lot more. A grown man having a woman pay his child support is not a good look. Makes him seem like a bum honestly.

  2. I personally cannot stand Marsau. He is so arrogant and thinks he is better than anyone and its like he doesn’t respect women at all. Both of you are right about him putting his brother’s business out there to try and embarrass Vanessa. He obviously cares nothing about him because it looks like he has nothing, if a woman was paying his child support.
