Dr. Contessa Metcalfe accused Dr. Heavenly Kimes of not wanting her to make certain friends.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe have been clashing on the current season of “Married to Medicine.” For Contessa, the last straw was Heavenly accusing Dr. Scott Metcalfe of being verbally and emotionally abusive. She discussed this and other topics including Toya Bush-Harris and Dr. Eugene Harris’ real estate moves during an interview with Funky Dineva.
She alleged that her friendship with Heavenly started to get rocky after Contessa got into a good space with Dr. Simone Whitmore.
“Heavenly has nothing to do with anything. I would actually say one of the biggest issues with me and Heavenly, and I actually said it would happen, if I became cool with Toya and Simone, she was gonna have a big problem with that.”
Contessa also said that Heavenly got upset about her going out to lunch with Simone and posting photos from their time together on Instagram. And Heavenly felt like Contessa wasn’t supporting her when she befriended Simone. What annoys Contessa about the cast is some of the women feel obligated to remain on certain teams. So they miss out on getting to know each other and forming their own opinions.
Shade was thrown.
She told Funky Dineva that it bothered her that Heavenly would praise Scott to his face but be critical on YouTube, “When all this stuff was out here about your husband, I was hardcore like I don’t even wanna talk about it. I’m not in it. But you over here, you hanging out with my family, but then you go back and you telling Scott, ‘Oh, you the best thing in the world. You’re such a good guy, you’re such a good father. I wish my husband would be cooking, cleaning, washing clothes taking kids here and there. But then you go on your social and talk about how he’s abusive, he’s a bad guy and he’s this and that.”
Contessa added, “I’m like wow. Which one is it?”
A jab was also thrown while Contessa explained why she planned the intervention, “That’s what I felt like. When she was watching the intervention, she was going to see how could that be something that someone who calls you a friend or sister would say. Right? Shut the **** up about it. I ain’t never talk to you…I’m not coming to you for advice. I don’t want your twin bed situation. Nobody’s interested in that.”
Her theory is that Heavenly’s YouTube situation is a result of her not being used to being popular. And being desperate not to lose her popularity.
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe defended Dr. Eugene Harris and Toya Bush-Harris.
She was also asked about Eugene and Toya moving multiple times.
“I think Toya is never satisfied.”
Contessa went on to say, “I think Toya is insatiable. I think that honestly, some people are like that. They want the newest, hottest thing. I keep cars for a decade. Some people get new cars every year or two. And whenever they see something that’s better than they got, they want it. I think that’s Toya. She wants to have the best of everything.”
Contessa continued, “I think her house that she built, it wasn’t exactly what she wanted after it got built. And she decided she wanted actually some more stuff. And here we go again. So I don’t know…I think she shouldn’t ever say this is the last move. That’s what I think she should stop saying. As long as she’s honest about that, she’s going to be fine. But I think she just likes new stuff.”
And she also broke down what she thinks is hypocritical about calling the couple broke, “So let me tell you what’s always a challenge to me and this is something that I would say was good advice but I also don’t really succumb to it…Heavenly told me when I got on the show, ‘You need to do a YouTube channel, do something like go on live and all that because people are dumb and believe whatever you tell them.’ They don’t think through the details. The data gets in the way is what I say.”
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe believes there is hypocrisy at play.
She added, “So if you can say that Quad can sustain herself and Toya and her who’ve been on this show for the same amount of time, they make the same amount of money, how is it that one cannot sustain her lifestyle but the other one could? And you add in Eugene’s income in addition to Toya’s because they make the same, right? They make the same. I live here before the ‘Married to Medicine’ income even came in right? Why would an $8,000, $10,000 mortgage which is 10 times 12 is $120,000? Why would that be something that would be a challenge for people who make a ton of money? Don’t make sense.”
Contessa once again points out what she thinks is hypocritical, “The math and the data doesn’t make sense. But again, it’s salacious, it’s good fodder to say people are broke. You can’t say one person has this money and the other doesn’t when they just watched them do the same thing.”
Contessa is the hypocrite, she has no loyalty to no one not even Dr. Scott. She will do whatever it takes to remain on the show, nothing about her storylines are real or interesting. She talked about Toya celebrating paying bills, she talked against her husband, she told Buffie to get over the fertility situation w/Jackie, she joked about Anila’s stolen jewelry from the robbery, she has no integrity or compassion.
I feel ya with Cone-tessa and remember when she wanted to beat Toya down. They all talk about each other but Cone-tessa straddles the fence. She needs to be gone frfr she and her weirdo husband. I think Simone straddles the fence and is a bullie. Heavenly and Quad don’t think before they speakwhich got me into a lot of trouble over the years. The producers need to bring some positive back to the show because the arguing and cat fights is getting old!!
Points were made and I do wish they would all stop this team vs team crap they do every season.
I went back to Sept of 21 and looked at clips when Contessa was talking back things about her marriage. Not Heavenly but Contessa where she doing all that crying. I wish she would stop trying to change that lie up now. I don’t know why she want to put Toya and Dr. Simone in this. This don’t have anything to do with them. Come Contessa get your lie right. Don’t get. Like I said early all people got to do is go back to Sept of 21 and things you said Heavenly was lying about they will see the words coming from your lying lips.
