Mariahlynn’s past internet comments bothered Karlie Redd.
Karlie Redd received some backlash during the recent season of “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta.” Kendra Robinson and some LHHATL fans took issue with Karlie’s actions at Yung Joc’s bachelor party. Karlie agreed to surprise him by popping out of the cake. And the way Joc hugged Karlie during that moment was labeled as inappropriate for a soon-to-be-married man. It also didn’t help that Joc and Karlie have a messy history in the form of a failed romance.
At the reunion, Kendra didn’t hold back. And she accused Karlie of being desperate for a storyline on the show. Interestingly enough, “Love And Hip Hop New York” star Mariahlynn and LHHATL alum Tokyo Vanity also think Karlie is very messy.
In fact, on the season premiere of “VH1: Family Reunion,” Mariahlynn tried to speak to Karlie. But Karlie gave her the cold shoulder. In a green screen interview, Karlie said, “Marilynn, when I seen her, she’s like trying to hug me. I’m like why would I hug somebody that was talking so much **** about me on the internet? I know this may seem petty and childish to people but she’s just another bully.”
Karlie Redd thinks Mariahlynn should have been less judgmental.
Mariahlynn said she was confused in her green screen interview.
“I really was caught off guard by Karlie rolling her eyes and giving me her back. I try to be nice to everybody. But since you want to roll your eyes *****, I can fix them for you. But I don’t want to do that to you because I’m in a new place in my life. And besides, I don’t think I would last one hour in the Jamaican jail.”
In a later conversation, Karlie is able to explain to Mariahlynn what their issue is. Mariahlynn stresses that she doesn’t have an issue with Karlie. And she probably said something slick about Karlie in defense of a friend.
“It was…probably has to do with you being mean to one of my friends or something, acting a certain way. But do I have an issue with you, Karlie? Absolutely not.”
Karlie goes on to say that Mariahlynn said she was messy. Mariahlynn tells Karlie that she is messy. And this upsets Karlie, “I don’t give a **** what you see on TV.” In a green screen interview, Karlie says that Mariahlynn understands how reality television works. So it makes no sense to her that Mariahlynn would call her messy before actually meeting her.
Tokyo Vanity has no regrets.
Regardless, nothing is resolved from the conversation. And Mariahynn said Karlie should be aware of her image by now, “Everybody knows that Karlie’s messy. And people have a perception of you that you create by being on television. Prove to me that you’re not messy, Karlie because right now, you’re living up to that.”

Interestingly enough, Tokyo Vanity called out Karlie on social media months ago. She commented on a video of Karlie complaining about people saying she had some awful work done to her face. Tokyo said she had no empathy for Karlie because Karlie has been awful to people on television for years.
Well, turns out Tokyo filmed the current season of “VH1: Family Reunion” as well. She clashed with Karlie and ended up swinging on Karlie in the trailer. When someone asked Tokyo why she swung on an “elder,” Tokyo clapped back.
She wrote, “Cause my elder tried to link up with other elders on a trip and be mean and tried to all gang up and bully me for content.”

These youngins got more sense than so call vets. Tokyo hadn’t been on the show for at least couple of seasons. So everybody at this reunion got years old beef n want to act out on it. Karlie has always been messy day one. Remember she came on as mimi’s friend bought josline up n she’s been messy ever since. Some folks really just need a good oldfashioned A$$ whooping. Y not start wit karlie. Spice messy too. Js
I am tired everyone always picking on Karlie. She is not no messier than anyone else on those shows. Karlie cut Sierra after Sierra and her sister jumped Karile. Toko comes on this show and swings on Karlie when she wasn’t looking. Karlie stop calling trash friends. They used you to get on show and then try to dog you every chance they get. Spice is your only true friend.
Karlie is not a victim. She’s a bully and she mistakenly thought she was going to bully Tokyo for a storyline. Stop giving her a pass because you like her.
