Romeo Miller and Angela Simmons’ fallout was very controversial.
“Growing Up Hip Hop” returns in January. And the return of Romeo Miller will force him to once again address his fallout with his former friend, Angela Simmons. As we reported, Romeo started to dislike the direction of the show. He said that his friendship with Angela seemed one-sided at times. And he didn’t like that Angela would do things like not respond to texts about his Bible study notes.
Romeo also said that he took issue with the photos Angela would post on her Instagram account. In his opinion, they were just too risque for someone with Angela’s background.
As for Angela, she didn’t think she and Romeo had any issues at all until he vented to Vanessa Simmons. Jojo Simmons and Angela just couldn’t understand why Romeo didn’t have that conversation with Angela instead. Plus, Angela was hurt to find out some of the things Romeo said about her. She was also disappointed that at the time, he avoided her calls and texts.
Although they didn’t hash things out before Romeo left GUHH, Angela spoke on his exit. She wished him the best. And she wished that things didn’t unfold the way that they did.
Will Angela Simmons and Romeo Miller move forward?
Luckily, Angela and Romeo may be able to get to the bottom of things in the upcoming episodes. In a trailer for what’s to come, Romeo and Angela have an honest conversation about what happened. And Romeo says, “It wasn’t nothing personal or tryna attack you if it came off like that.”
Angela responds, “It felt personal.”
Later on in the trailer, more drama follows. Jojo apparently rubs someone the wrong way and a drink is thrown at him. And Briana LaTrise seemingly has a messy encounter with Cree Campbell.
Briana says, “**** that ***! I’m starting with you now, *****!”
Life changes will also be front and center. In fact, Egypt Criss and Sam Wright are having a baby.
GUHH returns on January 5 at 9 pm ET on WE tv.
The way he flipped on Angela was weird as f-ck. Glad they were able to talk it out apparently.
