Mia Thornton and Wendy Osefo’s fallout caused a stir on social media.

Real Housewives of Potomac” star Wendy Osefo‘s drama with Mia Thornton had a lot of fans talking on social media. As we reported, the two women clashed during a cast trip to Miami. Peter Thomas told Mia that his business deal with Wendy was held up by her. At the time, he and Mia were friends. He also had a friendship with Mia’s husband Gordon Thornton.

Wendy wanted to open a Nigerian lounge with Peter. However, she didn’t move forward. So Peter thought it was rude for Wendy to show up in Miami without planning to check in with him. Wendy said this was ridiculous. And she certainly didn’t appreciate Mia calling her out about the failed business deal in front of the group.

Eventually, words were exchanged. The night ended after Mia threw a drink at Wendy and hit her with a purse.

Fans hopped on social media with strong opinions. Some called out Mia for her actions. They said she had no right to make things physical. This is a take that Candiace Dillard Bassett and Ashley Darby expressed. Interestingly enough, Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant said Wendy antagonized Mia. So they didn’t believe there was a need to have much empathy for Wendy.

Wendy Osefo’s friend may be joining the show.

The situation resulted in many conversations about colorism and the cast dynamics. Some fans even said that they feel as if Wendy doesn’t really have a solid ally on the cast.

Months ago, it was rumored that another Nigerian housewife, Nneka Ihim, had been added to the “Real Housewives of Potomac” cast. However, it was also confirmed in a recent social media video that Wendy and Nneka aren’t getting along while filming the upcoming season.

Well, TV Deets is now reporting that Wendy may officially be bringing a friend to the group. Keiana Stewart has been filming scenes for the new season since April. Keiana is the owner of K. Stewart Beauty & Wellness. Her business operates out of Baltimore. And so far, Keiana is being tested for an official friend role. While Keiana’s status with all the cast members is unknown, she did recently attend one of Candiace’s recent performances. So she’s likely on good terms with Candiace as well.

  1. Chile are they real friends though because we’ve seen friends turn on the wife who brought them in all the time.

  2. Wendy wants to play victim but she is sort of aggressive with her tone. Don’t get me wrong they all can be but she seems unnecessarily aggressive. One of her very first scenes she flipped out because Ashley bought her child on the girls trip. So unnecessary

    1. That wasn’t unnecessary. She was right. It’s a girls trip. In that case, she could’ve brought her daughter. Her point was valid. I haven’t seen Wendy play victim. If anything c out of all the woman, she has the most to lose.

    2. I like Wendy but I still agree she really did way too much with Ashley that day. I don’t even like Ashley but it was Monique’s trip. So it was Monique’s responsibility to tell Wendy that she could bring her kid. I still don’t understand why Wendy went off on Ashley and never called out Monique. There was no need to unload on Ashley like that.

  3. Mia should be quiet, she is a fraud Came into the group, with all the hoopla that she was so rich, had this business, that business, like she had so much going on, . come to find most of her story was a LIE.
Karen is the “GRAND DAME” of the group. Everything about she and Ray is true and authentic..
BYE GREEN EYED MONSTERS, especially you ROBIN. Don’t you know when a man don’t want you. JUAN HAS A ROVING EYE AND WILL ALWAYS HAVE 2 ROVING EYES. QUIT BEING SO DAMN DUUB. YOU OWE THIS TO YOU SONS

  4. Wendy is in the wrong show considering how much time she spends informing everyone that she is a John Hopkins Professor , has a PhD and is a commentator on MSNBC! Wendy should perhaps explore a professional platform which supports her narcissistic narrative!!
