Stefano is targeted by the feds.

Unique’s brother Ronnie goes back to the club during after-hours. He approaches the security guard he had tension with and repeatedly slams his head with his car door. Ronnie steals the money the man has in his wallet before leaving.

The feds go to Stefano’s fish shop because someone told them he was selling endangered fish. They also ask him if he knows who took out Sal. He’s arrested for further questioning.

When his lawyer arrives, he points out that the fish Stefano was selling is not endangered, so none of the charges will stick. The feds warn Stefano to watch his back because they know he knows what happened to Sal.

Raq finds out the feds have activated.

Howard updates Raq about the feds’ interest. He says they are looking into all the Italians to locate Sal’s killer. So Kanan needs to stay out of the way until the heat dies down. They can’t bring any attention their way.

After the conversation with Howard, Raq stops by Famous and Kanan’s place. Kanan isn’t there. She leaves Famous some cash, telling him to just ask if they need more.

Ronnie and Unique work out at a gym together. Raq is brought up, again. Ronnie is ready to make money with his little brother. But he thinks Raq is taking from their pockets. So he tells Unique he should have killed Raq back in the day. But it’s not too late.

Raq gifts Jukebox a necklace ahead of her audition to be a part of a new girl group. She also requests that Jukebox alerts her if Famous and Kanan get in any trouble.

Famous tells Kanan that Raq stopped by and left cash. So there’s no need to follow through with Kanan’s plan to start a weed delivery business. But Kanan doesn’t want Raq in his life or her help. He threatens to beat Famous up if she lets her back in their apartment again.

Ronnie learns of Unique and Raq’s intimate relationship.

Unique meets with one of Stefano’s partners. Stefano told him they couldn’t work together if his partners do not approve of Unique. Luckily, Unique hits it off with the man. And he will get his first shot at selling his drugs.

Howard speaks to the chief about the feds moving in on their territory now that the Italians are suspected of setting up Sal’s murder. He’s surprised and concerned when the chief tells him Burke’s ex-girlfriend is determined to keep digging to exonerate her.

Lou walks inside of a bar playing music he recognizes. He asks the bartender what she knows about E-Train since she’s playing his music. Shirley, the bartender, says she knew E-Train back in the day. He was one of the musicians who frequented the bar she used to work at years ago. Lou says E-Train was his father. He killed himself after he gave up on everything, including music and boxing.

Marvin receives a page and when he returns the call, Gerald from anger management class says he’s in danger. The men holding him hostage want $3000. When Marvin arrives, they say they want $5000. Marvin hands over the cash and takes Gerald back home. He finds out Gerald is an editor for The Voice, a local newspaper.

Raq and Unique hook up again. However, this time Ronnie watches in a car from across the street as Unique returns to his car one night.

Juke takes the stage without Lou Lou.

Lou Lou’s time at the bar goes left once he beats up a rude patron who is being nasty to the artists performing on the stage. The bouncer has to pull Lou off of the man.

Howard talks to Burke’s ex. He’s able to convince her that he deeply cared for Burke and that stress from the job made her take her own life.

Lou Lou is arrested for his bar fight so he misses Juke’s audition. So he’s not able to play the track they recorded in the studio for her while she sings. Regardless, Juke gets on stage to sing it acapella. Marvin thinks she nailed it. But Juke isn’t sure what to think since she was only allowed 30 seconds to sing.

Ronnie has his eyes on Kanan.

When Lou is released from jail, he goes back to the bar to apologize to Shirley for his violent actions. After a brief chit-chat, they agree to have Lou help her market the bar. He’s interested in getting more artists to come out.

Raq decides to purchase the Dominican hair salon she frequents to wash what’s left of her drug money. She has no idea that the feds are watching her from across the street and they’ve been told she’s a “criminal mastermind.”

Meanwhile, Famous and Kanan catch Ronnie staring at them while they look over the cash they just made from their new weed delivery business. They walk back into their apartment because Ronnie is giving off some real creepy vibes.
