Details from Martell Holt’s arrest caused Nell Fletcher to change her opinion.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” cast member Martell Holt was a hot topic during the season premiere. His costars discussed his recent arrest. Nell Fletcher was the most opinionated about the situation. She told Stormi Steele that she didn’t agree with Martell being locked up. Nell said she didn’t like seeing black men in jail when things could be worked out. However, she changed her position after she had a conversation with Melody. Melody told Nell that Martell allegedly threatened to leak an explicit video they recorded while they were married. Nell explained she was speaking from a place of a concerned mother since her son was recently locked up. But she now feels Melody did what needed to be done.
After Nell caught up with Melody, she decided it wouldn’t be a good idea to have Martell and Melody around each other at her upcoming get-together. So, Nell planned to tell Martell he was not invited. And she chose to invite Melody instead.
It’s possible that Nell’s decision to support Melody rubbed Martell the wrong way. In a preview for the next episode, Chris Fletcher confronts Martell for referring to Nell as a side chick.
Martell Holt backs down from calling Nell Fletcher a side chick.
Chris says, “I had a talk with the wife. I think my wife deserves an apology for calling her a side chick.”
Martell responds, “Weren’t you married when you started talking…”
Chris replies, “Before I met her? Yeah.”
Martell accuses Chris of lying and then says, “You were married and you met Nell and y’all kind of…”
Chris clarifies, “And I was separated from my wife on paper. We were going through a divorce. My wife ain’t no side chick.”
Martell adds, “She ain’t now.”
Chris snaps, “She never was ************. Don’t call my wife no ******* side chick.”
He continues, “She ain’t never been no side chick. So seriously she ain’t no side chick.”
Martell smiles widely and asks, “If we gon define the term, what’s the definition of a side chick?”
Chris answers, “I don’t know, some **** everybody made up.”
Martell then moves in to dap up Chris and says he won’t call Nell a side chick again.
“Man, if you say she wasn’t a side chick, man cool, she wasn’t a side chick. I won’t call her a side chick no more. It is what it is.”

Martell would rather slander people than admit it’s his fault he lost his family.

These people keep letting Martell play in their faces like they’re scared of him.
They are scared of him. Marsau literally filed a restraining order against him. They gaslight Mel because they fear Martell. Carlos and OWN fear him as well so they let him do whatever he wants. It’s sickening.
