Beyonce‘s dad Mathew Knowles took on the role as the superstar singer’s manager and managed her for several years. And as Beyonce’ has had tons of success as one of the best entertainers in the game, many would credit Mathew Knowles as the person that was instrumental in helping Bey make her way to the top of the music industry. His job as his daughter’s manager came to an end a few years ago. And their professional relationship was not the only thing that changed drastically as Mathew fathered a baby outside of his marriage to Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, causing a rift between him and Beyonce’ as she is extremely close to her mother. And to make matters worse, the mother of his son continues to do a lot of talking to the media and has even claimed that Mathew Knowles allegedly threatened her. Beyonce’ has opened up about her hurt over seeing her close bond with her father begin to break. And in a recent interview that he did with The Sun, Mathew Knowles talked about the rift that happened between him and Beyonce’ and said that parting ways with his daughter as her manager took a toll on him as well as it was a very difficult thing for him to deal with:
“Normally I hate to talk about anything personal, but it would be a lie if I did not say it has been difficult. It was hard for me to let her go — it was hard for both of us to let each other go. And let’s be clear on that. She didn’t let me go, we both let each other go. That’s a big difference.
“This was not a normal ending of a business agreement. This was a dad and a daughter and it was incredibly painful and it had some difficulties. But I try to always have a positive mind about things and you got to do it the right way.”
Mathew Knowles may claim that it was difficult dealing with splitting from Beyonce’ professionally and the decline of their personal relationship outside of the business, but the hurt that he feels won’t stop him from throwing a little shade at Beyonce & her husband Jay-Z, Bey admitting on a number of occasions that she gets a lot of music and career advice from her husband:
“I always did my best for Beyonce’…fans can decide if she’s better off with Jay-Z now.”
Wow. Totally unnecessary. He cheated on his wife and hurt his daughters in the process. He’s mad at the wrong people.
SMDH. Mathew is so messy! Just stop and let time heal all wounds.

As much as I love Bey, her dad is right. He made her a star. He made smart business moves to get her on top. She’s making some terrible decisions now that he wouldn’t have stood for. And one is that terrible Bow Down song.
I wish he would just stop all this talking.

So sad. He’s talking out of spite. He needs to chill out and let Bey come to the realization that he should be in her life on her own.
So true…..time heals all wounds…she’ll come around on her on terms….if he keeps adding insult to injury things will never come together……

I wish this man would shut the hell up! This is not helping Beyonce. It’s only pulling her down. Be a man and respect that you’re not in her life right now because you let down the family by cheating on your wife.
I need Matt and Bey to have a better relationship than they do now. They are letting this Music Biz keep them emotionally apart.
