Confirmed: Halle Berry is Having a Boy

Halle Berry baby gender revealed? Actress Halle Berry is currently pregnant with her second child, as she is having her first child with her fiancé Olivier Martinez. The actress couldn’t be more elated about her current pregnancy, as she recently expressed in numerous interviews prior to learning she was pregnant that she wanted her daughter Nahla to have a younger sibling to play with. Despite the pregnancy, Halle is still busy working and she’s even currently filming the next installment of the “X-Men” series. Although there has been plenty of speculation surrounding the sex of the baby, the actress said recently she wasn’t sure of the baby’s gender just yet.

It now appears Halle and her fiance now know the baby’s gender and the other day Olivier told PEOPLE at the opening night of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival he and Halle are having a baby boy. He says:

“My son will be an American, but I remain French.

“I’m French — it’s less important. Meaning, I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there — but I’m still a foreigner.

“My son will be an American.”

Halle herself spoke recently about being pregnant with baby number two and she labels her current pregnancy as a “surprise”:

“I was at the doctor’s when they told me and I was completely shocked … I didn’t see it coming. I went to the doctor because I thought I had kidney stones or something. So it was a massive surprise.

“[Nahla’s] really happy. Not long ago she asked God for a little sister, but I tried not to get her hopes up. At 46, I didn’t know if I’d be able to get pregnant again.”
