Arguably the most polarizing figure on season 6 of “Basketball Wives” is Jackie Christie.
Jackie’s been embroiled within controversy all season. Most of it stems from her oldest daughter Ta’Kari Lee writing a tell-all book about their strained relationship.
Ta’Kari’s Go Fund Me Campaign for her son’s medical bills stemming from a burn accident at day care has caused Jackie to aggressively feud with Evelyn Lozada.
As spoken about on the show, Evelyn Lozada donated $3,500 to the Go Fund Me campaign. Once Jackie found out about it, she starting clashing with Evelyn. This feud also resulted in Jackie calling Evelyn’s daughter a “build-a-w***e,” and a near physical altercation outside a New York City restaurant. All of this happened in front of the cameras.
As a result of Jackie’s antics, including saying on multiple occasions she wants to kill Evelyn, fans have been calling for Jackie Christie to be fired from the show.
And as we saw after Monday night’s episode, Shaunie may be listening to those fans, as she is getting to her wits-end regarding Jackie.
Many viewers who want her gone feel that Jackie’s drinking is getting way out of control and fuels the outbursts of aggression and threats of physical harm against Evelyn.
However, Jackie is fighting against these claims.

This is how I know who hasn’t been watching BBW that long. Jackie put her situation with Takari on TV years ago. It’s been discussed and she never denied anything Chantel and Takari said. She’s just trying to play victim now because she knows a lot of people hate Evelyn enough to put a cape on for her.

EV MAY HAVE GIVEN TAKARI THE MONEY OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF HER HEART BUT YOU CANT YELL “GO BE A GRANDMOTHER” OR “FIX YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR DAUGHTER” – AND THEN GET MAD WHEN JACKIE BRING UP WHAT’S BEING SAID ABOUT HER DAUGHTER. IF KIDS ARE OFF LIMITS – THEN THAT’S ALL KIDS – NOT JUST EV AND HER BUDDIES…
Her a-s is always drunk. It’s like she has to be sh-t faced to feel good enough to film. She’s only denying it now because she knows her a-s is on the line and she’s a couple retweets away from getting fired.
I’m really over Jackie this season. She’s beefing with Evelyn to deflect and I’m sick of it.
Jackie should have been a better mother. Then this wouldn’t even be a discussion.
This is a joke. They want Evelyn gone, but Strong jaw Tami punched Meeka dead in her dome and nothing was done about it. Tami stole the other girl’s purse and told her if she wanted she needed to take it from her. GOH
Correction….they want “Jackie” gone.
I see Jackie and her stans only know one thing…and that is to deflect. Tami nor Evelyn have ever threatened to kill anyone on the show. And neither Tami or Evelyn are deadbeat mothers. So yes, Jackie needs to go. She’s trash and the show doesn’t need her. There are other basketball wives they can hire. She is totally replaceable.
The thing is Evelyn started this entire issue when she mentioned Jackie’s grandson. Yeah, Jackie hit back a little harder calling her daughter a build-a-w…but Evelyn started this. So, Evelyn brings her friend on who slaps Jennifer in the face, but that’s okay. Tami running after Buffy, but that’s okay. If they fire Jackie, BBW will be dead. Jackie make interesting TV. Rest of the Old Lady Gang can really kick romcks
The show will not die without Jackie. Jackie couldn’t even save the ratings after Draya left. Ratings dropped when Draya left and VH1 went in panic mode and brought back Tami. They were about to cancel it but Tami agreed to come back and ratings went back up. Don’t try to recreate history to make Jackie seem more important than she actually is. Now when Evelyn came back this season, ratings became the highest they have ever been. Jackie has never made the show and never brought in ratings. Jackie and her stans are trying to change up the narrative because they don’t like facts. Oh and for the record as these videos show, Jackie’s terrible parenting was a topic on this show way before Evelyn came back. And Jackie is the one who decided to make Evelyn donating to Takari her storyline this season. She is the first person who brought it up this season. Not Evelyn. Evelyn donated the money like many other celebrities and thought nothing of it until Jackie decided to bring it up in their first scene together. Jackie wanted this storyline but it backfired on her. Her bad.
I’m trying to figure out when Jackie became such a ratings draw. That’s news to me.

I’m just going to keep it real because I’m Team Nobody. I honestly don’t see what the big deal is about Evelyn donating the money. She’s not the only celebrity who did. She didn’t even know Jackie like that when she donated. So she didn’t betray Jackie and she wasn’t being messy when she did it. A lot of people honestly felt bad for Takari’s son, as they should have. Jackie is the one who brought up the Go Fund Me on the show first. She probably thought it wouldn’t blow up and her and Evelyn would be cool but Jackie didn’t anticipate that Tami would be the one to stir the pot. Don’t forget Tami is the one who planted that seed in Jackie’s head about Evelyn donating to be messy. Tami is also the one who lied and said Evelyn shaded Jackie on the Go Fund Me page which turned out to be a lie. So Jackie let Tami get in her ear after she already talked to Evelyn about it and they were cool. Then Tami is the one who told Jackie that Evelyn said she needs to take care of her grandkids, Jackie didn’t even hear it when it was said. Evelyn said that after Jackie went off on her in front of Shanice, after Tami got in her ear. After Tami hypes Jackie up some more, Jackie goes off and calls Shanice a whore. And now you get Messy Evelyn back who continues to communicate with Takari to get under Jackie’s skin and now we have this huge mess here. So people are incorrect when they try to say Shaunie, Ev or Jackie caused any of this. Nope. The real puppet master this season is Tami. And I’m surprised none of them have figured that out yet.

I don’t want Jackie to be fired. I want Takari to come back on the show and for her and Jackie to work on their issues. I don’t want Evelyn to go. Shaunie, not Tami. Malaysia ether. Nor Brandi. The cast is fine. People just need to learn how to talk out their issues.
