Comedian Katt Williams has had plenty of legal troubles for the last several weeks. Besides those recent meltdowns on stage during his stand up performances, Williams has been arrested quite a few times over the last couple of months. Many of the arrests were due to accusations that the comedian had been involved in physical altercations with his fans, but he’s also facing some legal troubles for slapping a Target employee and hitting a former fan in the head with a microphone. In addition to the arrests, he’s been the target of lawsuits, and it appears that he’s even burning bridges with his fellow comedians.
Katt’s behavior has been so erratic that many people are speculating that the comedian may be on drugs. Katt denies that he is using any drugs, and blames the media for the numerous negative reports and months of bad press. And recently, a former associate of the comedian claimed that it’s not drugs that are responsible for Katt’s erratic behavior, but instead, mental illness.
Although Katt Williams briefly retired for one day due to the series of legal troubles and bad press, he quickly returned to stand up comedy and is still doing shows throughout the country. However, the comedian is now facing more legal troubles.
According to TMZ, Williams was arrested on Friday for Child Endangerment. The police tell TMZ that Katt was allegedly endangering his four children ( it was reported years ago that he had seven adopted kids and one biological son). The LAPD cops picked up Katt once the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services reported guns and drugs were in his home.
As for now, Katt is in custody and his bail has been set for $100,000. The kids were placed in protective custody.
Damn Katt. Now he’s about to lose his kids. Man, he needs some prayer.

I told yall that Suge is the fat and hood version of the Grim Reaper. First he kills your life and then you end up dead too. I don’t see this ending well for Katt. He’s talented but had the wrong people around him.
Damn.
Sad.
So he was on drugs…I really hate to see him go through this. I know he feels he is just being picked on but I feel a lot of this is happened because he made bad decisions.
It’s unfortunate but he brought it on himself. He needs to get all those “yes men” out of his circle.
Damn shame. He needs to get himself together for the sake of the kids.
I remember him saying he had 8 kids too. So did the other four already get taken away?
I don’t feel sorry for him. He brought all of this on himself.
