Brandy new album in the works? Brandy Norwood’s music career has been a lengthy one as the R&B singer has cranked out classic tracks and solid albums. As Brandy’s latest album “Two Eleven” has been deemed as one of the singer’s best albums to date, “Two Eleven” wasn’t able to pull in high numbers in sales as people just aren’t rushing to the stores to purchase R&B albums anymore like they used to. While Brandy feels album sales don’t define her as an artist and aren’t a true reflection of her talent, the singer admitted in an interview she did with Da Vibe Magazine that she wasn’t too thrilled about the numbers her latest project did.

When asked if she was pleased the album sales for “Two Eleven,” Brandy says:

“Honestly, no. But it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate everyone who supported it and appreciated it. But would I have loved for it to reach more people? Absolutely because, I say this humbly, the work is just so great. I think everyone that was involved in the project really brought their “A” game and they really brought their heart, they brought their passion. And when something is very special, you want for it to connect with as many people as it possibly can. But again, I’m so thankful to everyone who supported it and who appreciates it for what it is. So I did my job, even if it’s only a few people.”

Despite the disappointing sales from “Two Eleven,” Brandy is moving forward with new music as the singer says she already has another album in the works:

“Yes, I have started the process of working on the new album, just putting it all together, putting the vision together. It’s definitely in the works. I wanna work with a lot of different producers. Hopefully it can all happen…I can assure you it’s also going to be another great album.”

    1. It does seem that way but then Adele sold MILLIONS. I’m starting to think black R&B singers just can’t pull big numbers anymore unless they are Beyonce and Rihanna.

  1. I loved the album. I hope she sells more the next album but if she doesn’t, she should be proud she put out quality music regardless.

  2. That was a good album and she should have sold more. Music industry is all about politics her album was poorly promoted.
