“Love and Hip Hop New York” star Yandy Smith has always been accused of getting preferential treatment from Mona Scott Young and the other producers, but Erica Mena called Yandy out after her final season because she feels like it’s unfair that Yandy is the only one who gets positive edits.

Yandy used to be a producer on the show, but she says she is no longer on the production staff and she has no say over how she is edited.

She tells VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live:

“I have no ends and no says about what gets edited.

“I have no say, no say at all.

“I am completely out of that role. Completely. I’m 100% cast member.”

  1. Girl whatever. She knows damn well the producers are always babying her. We have yet to see anything about Mendeecees’ legal problems besides him getting out. When he was accused of molesting that girl they said nothing about it on the show. They always make her look good.

    1. Thank you! My opinion of Yandy plummeted this season. And she got on my last nerve with that stupid name changing ceremony.

  2. As long as she stays on Mona’s good side, she will keep being portrayed as some smart business woman when she’s really on that bird sh-t in real life.

  3. Oh please Yandy must think we some fools lol. Yandy most definitely gets to choose what she wants to share about her life. They never discuss why Mendeecees went to jail or whats going on with his case, never talk about his other son if anybody else withheld like they did they would have been fired.

  4. Well why would she ever admit the obvious? Mona would definetly not be happy with her if she did. And those good edits would go away fast.
