Weeks ago Lil Wayne became a hot topic when he gave his two cents on Black Lives Matter and racism, and he claimed he has never experienced racism before.
In a recent interview with Nightline, the rapper makes it clear he doesn’t want to be asked about Black Lives Matter ever again.

In an interview with ABC’s Nightline, the 34-year-old rapper from New Orleans said he feels no connection to the movement that arose after multiple police shootings killed unarmed black Americans.
Weezy was asked by reporter Linsey Davis for his thoughts on the Black Lives Matters movement, to which he responded “What is it? What do you mean?”
Doubling down on his dismissal, Lil Wayne pressed ahead by saying “I am a young black rich [muthaf*cka]. If that don’t let you know that America understand black [bleeped out] matter these days, I don’t know what it is. That man white [points at cameraman]; he filmin’ me. I’m a [n*gga]. I don’t know what you mean man. Don’t come at me with that dumb [sh*t], ma’am. My life matter. Especially to my [b*tches]. ”
He continued: “I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me” and “If it ain’t got nothin’ to do with me, I ain’t connected to it.”

Interestingly enough, The Shade Room found video of the rapper showing love to Black Lives Matter during a Tidal performance back in August:

Wayne clearly doesn’t love or respect himself. Notice how he referred to the cameraman as a white man and referred to himself as a n*gga. It’s very telling, how he views himself and his people. Anyway, I refuse to care about this drug addict’s opinion.
This all day. The more we keep making this a story, the more important he thinks he is.
And Toya tried to defend him too. What a shame.
People can stop defending him now.
He’s such a buffoon. If he wasn’t a rapper, he’d be somewhere in the hood getting beat down by crooked cops.

Seems like he was high during that interview. I’m not giving him a pass, I just have a hunch.
And this is why Toya wasted her time defending him. H’e just plain ignorant and this shouldn’t be labeled as anything else other than ignorance.
Wait for he was ok with Black Lives Matter at first but changed his mind because he didn’t want to lose his white fans. Sounds about right. Welp I won’t be supporting anything he does ever again.
