GUHHATL Stars Ayana Fite & Shaniah Mauldin Clap Back at the Producers

The first season of “Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta” hasn’t been without drama.

In fact, the majority of the focus has been placed on the growing feud between Reginae Carter and Brandon Barnes.

As you may recall, Brandon ticked off Reginae after he claimed that he’s the artist developer who could have helped Lil Wayne’s rap career.

On the latest episode, Toya Wright confronted Brandon for his words regarding Lil Wayne but Jermaine Dupri’s daughter Shaniah Mauldin apparently feels like Brandon and Reginae’s beef should not be such a main plot of the season:

Ayana took to Twitter to call out the producers for making it seem like her dinner date with her father and girlfriend Amy was a disaster (read tweets from bottom to top):

  1. People really need to stop doing reality shows and get mad about editing. You got your check so sit back and shut up

  2. You can tell none of them really knew how all of this works. Reality shows are not for everybody.

  3. They need to put on their big girl panties and understand this is what they signed up for when they decided they wanted to do this show. The producers job is to make the show interesting enough for us to want to watch every week. Reginae and Brandon, Toya and Tiny, etc. are way more interesting than what Ayana and Shaniah got going on. Sorry not sorry.

  4. I agree with you. I find that the parents are more interesting than the children on this show, it was supposed to be about the children. This is why I like the original cast of Growing Up Hip Hop because it’s more about the children and the parents not sitting up there fussing and fighting each other, it’s just about kids of famous parents trying to get out of the Shadows of their parents. That’s why I think Atlanta version cheapest the show its more like a whole bunch of beefs a whole bunch of yelling and arguing almost like watching Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
