Siaani performs for Kid Capri.
Madina got Siaani a unique opportunity to work with Kid Kapri. Siaani’s been working on her craft and she’s really nervous to impress Kid Capri. The last gig went rough but Siaani sees major potential and this opportunity with Kid Kapri is huge. As they are on their way to the gig, Irv and Ja are playing chess and they are talking about the Murder Inc. tour. Their sons stop in and tell them about JoJo’s showcase they’re invited to.
Ja’s impressed with their music but doesn’t want it to interfere with his studies. Irv and Ja give them some interesting advice; win the women over.
Madina and Siaani make it to Kid Kapri’s home and Siaani’s nervous. Meanwhile, Madina’s hoping this leads to something big for the both of them. Kid’s listening intently to Siaani’s mixing and it doesn’t seem to be going over well. He gives her advice about her deejaying and Siaani seems embarrassed. But overall, Siaani is given pertinent advice.
Dazyna’s with Quan preparing for JoJo’s showcase and she’s doesn’t have much patience for him messing up. She lays into Quan to focus on the performance. Her other brother Will shows up with Quan’s hype man to get the rehearsal started. Da’Zyna and Will lay into them as both of them forget their words. This gets Quan into his feelings and he threatens to not perform.
Back at Kid Capri’s, Madina’s disappointed in Siaani’s performance, calling it a complete disaster. However, Siaani defends her resume when Madina tells her she knows how to blend and mix records. Madina gets even more furious when Siaani says Charli never showed up to any of her DJ gigs. Madina says Charli seems like a “dead beat” manager and Siaani needs to back away in order for Siaani to succeed.
Ryan performs with Fat Joe.
It’s the Bronx Week festival and Ryan’s hanging out with Vina and they’re really feeling each other. Ryan has a performance there with Fat Joe and he also invites Vina to JoJo’s showcase. Ryan takes her to Fat Joe’s trailer to introduce Vina to him.
Eventually, Ryan joins Fat Joe on the stage and Ryan is a natural. Ryan was a little nervous but Fat Joe said he did good.
It’s time for JoJo’s showcase and the cast shows up. But things get off to a rough start as the AC is out and the sound system is knocked out. But luckily for JoJo, the amp was fixed and the showcase is ready to begin. Madina introduces JoJo and Ryan to an A&R. JoJo was excited but Ryan seemed a little cold. Madina checks in with him to remind him to be more excited. He tells Madina that he doesn’t feel good. He hops on stage to perform. The performance doesn’t seem to move the crowd and Vina notices he looks off. Afterward, he heads out.

Next, Quantizing AKA Flee performs and he messes up. This angers his sister and JoJo realizes this show ain’t going well. Da’Zyna leaves and tells everyone she’s frustrated with what happened. When Quan comes outside, Da’Zyna grills him again, telling him he needs to take his time in the studio seriously. But Quan brushes it off. She threatens to no longer manage Quan anymore.
Afterward, the cast heads out to eat after the showcase. At the dinner, everyone hears Da’Zyna and YDB possibly are cousins according to Flavor Flav. Da’Zyna shows up and she vents about Quan not taking the performance seriously. Madina offers her services to Da’Zyna and Da’Zyna seems to be open to it. During the dinner, everyone notices JoJo’s being pulled out of a car. The episode ends with police patting him down.
