Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels just got some good news. The charges against both have been dismissed. It was rumored that the altercation that took place popped off after Candiace allegedly threw a drink in Monique’s face. And Monique responded by physically dragging her.

Not too long after, Candiace filed charges against Monique. And Monique filed charges against Candiace in response.

Candiace’s lawyer would later deny that Candiace threw a drink. And Candiace herself stated she was attacked but she did not attack Monique.

Regardless, second-degree assault charges against both were dismissed. Footage of the incident was reviewed. And interviews were conducted with Monique, Candiace, and witnesses who were there when it took place.

Monique’s lawyer, A. Scott Bolden, tells People that Candiace’s history of making “physical threats” and the review of other evidence is why the charges were dismissed.

Candiace’s lawyer, James L. Walker, Jr., told People that the claim that Candiace threw a “wine glass” at Monique is false. And he still believes Candiace was the victim.

After the news went viral, Monique responded on Twitter and Instagram.
